This is probably a daft question, and sorry if it's been asked before, but how do you delete add on data for games? I've got a bunch of trial tables on Zen Pinball that I don't want any more but I can't figure out how to delete them. They show up as add ons for the game but there doesn't seem to be a delete option.

Upload your saves to the Cloud (or USB) then delete all the game and game data, then re-download only the ones you want?

Well, I've just open the first safe in VLR. Only got a silver file which suggests I'm playing on Easy. I've not changed difficulty (that I'm aware of) and I thought it defaulted to Hard. Don't suppose it's just cos it's the first (intro) puzzle?

If I remember correctly, it hilariously defaults to Easy the first time around. You'll have to redo that puzzle from the start, and immediately switch to Hard before doing anything.

Ta - guess I'll use the cloud backup and redownload. Bit odd that there's no way to just delete them though.

Yeah, it would be easier but I don't know of any game that allows you to delete DLC from inside the game. It might let you delete individual packs in the game data folder, try checking there before anything else.

I saw that the 12 months for 29.99 deal was still available via game.co.uk so went for that - downloading wipeout, gravity rush and uncharted right now. The speed I get through games at the moment, those games alone will probably last me 12 months!

The problem with the Vita was Japan. It needed a killer title to shift numbers and it never had that. It needed a Monster Hunter.

Because it never shifted there early on, I think that then translated to sales in the west. Now Japan has Soul Sacrifice, they are going mental for the system.

You're right. That, with the price drop, and I see more and more Vitas here with each passing day. I have already seen two of the limited edition Soul Sacrifice Vitas, just this weekend.

Well after a few weeks of trying to talk myself out of it, I've finally caved and bought myself a Vita, and It's definitely PSN+ that has tipped me over the edge. Although I've been dying to play P4 Golden I've implemented a policy of not buying consoles based on the appeal of one game. Who knew that all it would take to make me forget that policy was barefaced bribery on the part of the console manufacturer? Well played Sony, well played indeed.

(I would have used that doffing hat smiley there, but I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a straw boater so you'll have to imagine my hat doffing).

I would also say the general sense of positivity pervading this thread was no small factor in my relenting. So well played to all of you too!

What shall I play now chaps? I've got: JSR, Big Sky Infinity, Assassins Creed, Virtua Tennis 4, and on Wednesday I'll have MGS HD too. Also haven't finished Sine Mora, Top Darts, Pool Hustle, or that black n white lil n large game (can't remember name right now).

Suggestions?

Has anyone managed to finish the story mode of Mortal Kombat? I flew through the whole thing, got to what must be the last fight and it's a right pain in the cock. I've googled strategies and the advice is to do exactly what I'm doing...It's just bloody tedious. AND HARD.

I've just started Uncharted. Did they patch the controls so you don't have to use the touch screen?

I remember a few people moaning about the shoehorned controls but from my short time with it there always seems to be a traditional alternative.

There is for movement and aiming. There isn't for chucking grenades (as far as I can remember) or doing the tedious stuff like brass rubbings or cleaning ancient pots or shuffling bits of paper around.

It's MK, you just have to persevere.

Yeah, it's really, really dull. IIRC it's a case of stay at range, duck the tridents, teleport when he throws a hammer, uppercut and repeat. Unless you're unlucky, or make a single mistake, in which case he'll get too close at some point and destroy you within a few seconds. Really crap way of ending an otherwise great fun single player mode, I thought.

Yup, that's what I was doing. I've not had a ridiculous number of attempts, but I've had a lot - I've taken a fair few rounds off him once I adopted that strategy, but two in a row seems like a pipe dream.

Ignoring that, it is a really good single player beat 'em up system. The story is a bit silly, obviously, but it's better than the film was...

yea was thinking this myself, dimensions is great on the 3ds so hopefully they cant mess up the vita version of 5 too much. Any news would be appreciated as I am keen to get it (same day as Monster hunter 3 ultimate though :( )
