Just thought I'd come in and ask - has the range of PSP games on the UK PSN improved a lot in the last few years? Does it have every PSP game yet?

That would include titles like Riviera, Valkyrie Profile, Jeanne D'Arc, Metal Gear Portable Ops, Metal Gear Ac!d 1&2, Phantasy Star Portable 1, and the like.

Really been enjoying my Vita lately. Roacketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, Urban Trials, Strangers Wrath and Life Of Pixel have been keeping my evenings plenty busy. I'm really getting into Urban Trials. I only ever played 360 Trials briefly, but this seems like a really solid take on the concept. It's certainly got that 'one more go' thing going, and it's surprisingly good visually. Feels nice and rugged.

Metal Gear HD Collection coming to PS+ in March! I was pretty close to getting that last week and only held off because the PSP game wasn't in it.

Got a source for that?

I picked up a copy the other week as I've only ever played MGS1.

Be cool if the PS3 version was also on Plus for the transfaring.

So my Vita turned up today, it's sitting charging away (I've got P4G for it, already played the PS2 version) and I've a silly question about PS+. Is it just the games that become 'free' during your membership you can grab or can you get those that have been 'free' in the past?

edit: nevermind, found the answer. Just need the damn thing to finish charging :)

So not all PS1 games work on Vita, is that right? I'd assumed there was an emulator in there that just played whatever you threw at it but I just noticed before I bought three games there that none of them had the Vita logo beside them. I want my Resi 2 dammit, seems to be the only one in the series not supported.

I have the US version of Resi 2 from EU PS+ over a year ago. Didn't work last time I tried (August time IIRC)

Getting both HD MGS for PS+ is far more than I expected. I thought we'd get one at a time, but Sony just keep on giving lately. Puddle looks OK too.

I'm really enjoying Urban Trials at the moment. Much better when I gave a wifi connection though, as otherwise there's no challenges but my own to try and beat

Happy 1st birthday Vita (well, 1 year since the EU launch anyway)

I didn't realise this until I saw this post this morning. The weird thing is, before seeing it I had a little splurge, not aware of the anniversary.

Got my launch unit a little brother to play with. A wifi Vita setup for the Japanese Plus account I bought earlier in the weak. I timed that Plus account well, I activated all the downloads just a couple of hours before they updated the store so I ended up with two months worth of Vita, PS3, Neo Geo and PC Engine games on the first day of having the sub.

I've been ill this week but I'm sure Wipeout told me to do exactly that in combat missions to change direction.

Someone help me out here!

Nope, it tells you to tap the right stick forwards/up in order to do a 180 degree turn, whereas tapping backwards/down is how you look behind you in any race. You never push the sticks in as a control, as that isn't something the Vita registers.

This prompted me to check and you are of course right. Serves me right for believing a memory gained while sitting in a cold departure lounge in Minsk with a fever.

Of course this just makes Remote play even more awkward.

Whilst I can imagine it might play a little awkwardly, you could always map L2 and R2 to the each half of the rear pad and L3 and R3 to each half of the touchscreen.
