But yeah, the remote play thing sounds fantastic. Even if it does get tepid support going forward, the ability to stream all PS4 games to it automatically validates a purchase.

The Sly demo is weird. I got stuck straight away, so I didn't get far, but going by the UI, it looks like they've just shrunk the PS3 version.

Pretty much the only time Vita was mentioned last night was for remote play of PS4 games, and something about being able to play your Vita games on the big screen, but no details given IIRC

One of the best annoucements was that you basically have a gamepad when you get a PS4. Excellent. Having no vita games won't matter when you have the PS4 library to play.

Does anyone have wipeout? I'm considering getting the console and wipeout as I haven't had a good race in ages.... and Fury on the PS3 is long in the tooth (though excellent).

So long as your PS4 game doesn't use L2 or R2 at all anyway.

This is true of current remote play titles, simply requires a (customisable) modifier key. I played all the way through Shadow and Ico on my Vita

Digital:not strictly but the system doesn't use multiple users like ps3 so you are limited in This regard

3G models are network locked in US and Japan, but not EU or HK

Yes, it's pretty awesome and suits being a portable game as well. £15 is a bargain.

Well worth it. It's an excellent game.

I'm enjoying it but it has been 11.99 previously I think. Sure that's what I paid for it.

They also mentioned last night that they have more plans for the Vita, but will announce those later in the year as tonight was about the PS4.

I'm interested in getting a Vita when the apparently inevitable price drop kicks in over here but in the meantime it looks like now is a good time to get one as far as the stuff offered on PS+ is concerned. If I get a PS+ subscription now and get a Vita later will I still get access to that content even if it's no longer currently offered or do you only keep the stuff you actually download to a device while it's up?

Sorry, I know this sort of stuff probably gets asked all the time but it's hard to search for specifics.

As long as you 'buy' the free stuff while it's up, (either on your PS3 or via the website) it's your to keep for the life of your subscription. No need to actually download it.
