Forgive the late hype post but I haven't been able to get online until now...

Persona 4 today! :omg: I admit I was briefly tempted to get in on the digital release as well so that I wouldn't have it living in my cart slot for an eternity, but I decided against it because I'm probably short on free space. And because it would be daft. Anyway, I made a thread for the game in case newcomers (and experienced) players want to discuss stuff without it getting lost in here. :)

Just finished Persona 4 The Golden.

There is an empty space in my life and heart now. Such a great game.

NG+! On super hard and go for all social links maxed and true ending and that. If you haven't already got the true ending obviously! That's what I'm about to do, keep up with the people playing it from UK release.

Ragnarok Odyssey has popped up on EU PSN Store. Any good?

There's a demo available, although you might have to use Search to find it.

It seemed like a competent mix of Dynasty Warriors and Monster Hunter, based on the little I played. Could be there's more to it than that, but the demo didn't really grab me and I already have a Vita backlog.

How big is the download for P4G?

Not got much space on my 16gb card, although I plan on deleting Uncharted & Gravity Rush very soon.

US version was 3.3GB if I remember right, might be a shade larger now with extra European languages but I imagine deleting Uncharted will be enough. And then as a bonus you also won't have Uncharted.

I didn't realise it was even coming to the west until a few days ago so i didn't know much about it. The £25 price tag certainly raised an eyebrow so I'm certainly more conscious of it's existence now. I realise this doesn't answer your question, but I would like to hear about it if anyone does buy it.

Oh it isn't as good as Trials, but for £7 it is plenty of fun. The hardest thing is not playing it like you'd play HD/Evolution.

What it does have is dynamic leaderboard goals within each level. Littles things such as, longest jump of a certain obstacle, speed through a checkpoint, that sort of thing. It works really well.

Its biggest issue, is that the RedLynx game does exist and it will draw comparisons.

I thought the trial was shite. Dodgy frame rate and odd physics. The trouble is Trails does exist and this is such a blatant rip off but with none of the finesse.

The argument it's £7 doesn't really wash due to the massively superior inspiration being similarly priced.

I think the argument that Trails wouldn't work on the vita, due to no triggers, stands.

Was looking forward to this but reviews seem mixed;

Got a bit of a odd levelling system too apparently, will probably give it a miss and get Monster Hunter on 3DS instead

I am enjoying it. What else can I say?

I find the additional mini challenges rather fun and don't find any framerate issues affecting my enjoyment. :)

As I said, it isn't Trials, but I am still having fun with a similar styled game.

Yep. I think it's great, too.

Hoping for a price cut today as im almost certainly going to need a second Vita to play Jp PSN stuff without faffing around. Understandably I don't want to spend too much on something I already have.

Ha ha I love that: "going to need a second Vita".

I also am liking the Urban Trials game. Not as good as Trials HD/Evo by far but still enjoyable. Loving all the little challenges during the course. Not enough tracks though

I don't fancy spending 5minutes faffing about with formatting every time I want to switch accounts. At the end of the day it's cheaper to buy the second vita for Jp PSN/PS+ than it is to import the games, such is the exchange rate (plus I get ps3 and game archives stuff as well).

I'm sure there are people who would think "wtf?", but fuck 'em I say. :D
