A new Orgarhythm video appeared online earlier this week (the rhythm-strategy hybrid from the Space Channel 5 guy); it's hard to pick up on the gameplay because the captions are indecipherable, but you can kind of get an idea of how it works. I interpret it as follows - in three beats you select the central character, then select the colour of the units that you want to command, and finally the command that you want to give; after the third beat, you point or drag around targets that you want your units to perform those actions on. I guess in a sense it could be comparable to Patapon?... although I've only played a demo of that so I could be talking rubbish. :P

It looks kind of fun, anyway. At about 1:20 I think there's a suggestion that the coloured units follow a rock-paper scissors system of strengths and weaknesses?

I haven't checked the Store in ages (trying to save money this year so I'm avoiding too many impulse buys) but this was released earlier this month. Not quite as hyped about it as I once was, but it might be worth a look when I haven't got so many other games going on...

DLC language pack. FFS :lol::facepalm:

Whilst I'm with you on the DLC lol. The more I think about it the more it makes sense. Not everyone wants the original Japanese language, think of the extra memorycard space a whole language track takes. Myself I'll be reordering so I can have the choice ;)

I've had a loan of one of these for a while now and it's a really nice wee thing. Gravity Rush is growing on me now and I'm just downloading the demo of Retro City Rampage. :)

If that souls game turns out to be good then I can see myself capitulating!

I just want to throw some more love towards Treasures Of Montezuma Blitz. I went back to Bejeweled Blitz on the iPhone today for the first time in a couple of months and it feel so dull and soulless in comparison to ToMB. There is just something special about the game, despite it being a clone of the PopCap effort.

Never heard of that type of DLC before. Oh well might as well get used to it (I'm one of those suckers who will pay for it).

Today Capcom Japan announced they are making RE6 Japanese voices dlc... for Japan.

(Resident Evil always has english voices in Japan)

Muramassa has also been confirmed for US today. Hopefully that means EU will get it too.

Killzone announcement on Thursday and apparently some XSEED announcements too.

Excellant. I suspect Rising Star will be in line to release it again.

Can you hot swap vita memory cards and if so are there any issues or things to watch out for?

The psn account is only one region, no trying to be too clever here!

The positions of all of your icons will be reset as will you backgrounds (if you have any). Other than that it will be fine.

Retro City Rampage is a great laugh going by the demo... Does it keep it up?

I didn't play the demo, but if you like what you've played so far then you're likely to enjoy the rest of it. It's quite humourous and has lots of references to other games and pop culture all the way through.

My only "issue" with it is that I found most of it quite easy up until what is presumably near the end. Up until that point I hadn't lost a life. I'm now stuck on a Chase HQ-like bit. I won't say too much about it, but the gameplay on that part is very much the ilk of an 80s game (ie frustrating :P). Could just be me being crap though.

Isn't it weird with the Vita how actually seeing gameplay before a product is out feels sort of novel? Almost everything I've bought on the Vita I've had to buy blind, and while I haven't been disappointed I'm not sure I'm comfortable with a brave new world where people promote their Vita products and show them to me before they expect me to buy them.

Tearaway is gorgeous and looks inventive but then what else do we expect from Media Molecule.

Killzone? looks good apart from framerate issues mentioned above. The gameplay shown seems to show quite "tight" environments I guess that is why it looks so pretty ;)

Both of those videos look great, right up until the point where that woman is blowing at her Vita, and the point where that big "swipe here" arrow appears in Killzone.

I wish they'd put an option in the Vita's settings to turn off all fucking shitty controls. It's got a d-pad, two analogue sticks, shoulder buttons and an bunch of other face buttons. We don't need all the wanky bollocks they have to put in phone/tablet games that don't have alternative (superior) options.
