Ive got a few really good farming techniques for EDF if anyones interested, i dont want to clog this thread up by going on about it. Ive managed to get some level 80 weaponry for the pale wing despite only having 1400 hp. Briefly, hit up level 41 on inferno, it's all red ants, ie no acid spit..put your best rapier on and fly up inside the tunnel next to the bridge 180 degrees behind you from the start. After a minute all the ants will pile up there and cant touch you if youve a decent rapier..you get a ton of weapon drops conveniently placed right in front of you at the tunnel entrance. Ive managed to get a level 83 master rapier T amonst others.

2nd one needs you to have the thunderbow 20R, which is a level 40 weapon you can grind from level 2 on hardest. Its the fast firing variant of the thunderbow 20. Equip 2 of them at once, and you can literally perform a never ending wave of attacks if you dont use energy to fly..as one gun reloads while the other fires. Take it into level 47, extermination 3, on hardest and then inferno once youre confident. Its all spiders in tunnels so you turn 180 degrees from start position...take the left route on fork in the road, kill a few spiders then just hole up there blasting the spiders when they pop through the tunnel. Its tricky....its the farming spot I used on the 360 but you get some amazing drops.

I think PS+ has sold me on a Vita. Am I right in thinking though that I can't have multiple region accounts on one system though, like you can with the PS3? I bought about half my PS1 games from my US account, is there any way to have those and my UK purchases on the same system?

Do the retail games change on PS+ for Vita? It only seems to be Uncharted & Gravity Rush all the time with just PSN games changing. I'm getting tempted by PS+ but I only have a Vita after my PS3 died, so I don't know if there'll be enough retail games available to make it worth purchasing.

Mortal Kombat is a retail game.

But yeah, those 2 are long term, the other 2 change. It's not like there's a huge choice of retail games they can flip through.

PS+ has what it calls it's instant game collection.

When it launched on PS3 the idea was that alarge catalogue of games would be made available up front (Infamous 2, Motorstorm, LBP2 were some of these). The idea was these longer term freebies would stay available and slowly rotate out, so for example not all 8(?) of the would change on the second month. Instead 1 or 2 would change. I think the idea being that there's always a fair whack of stuff available and its a constantly evolving library of games.

If I'm remembering correctly they're trying to do the same on vita. So in the first month Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Chronovolt etc were all available and things like Chronovolt and Mutant Blobs have been swapping out whilst the other games remain as the more longer term instant game collection.

It looms like those longer term freebies (on both platforms) are Sony published which makes sense.

So basically not all of the content cycles through each update, some of it is planned to be there longer term.

If you search back through the EU PSN blog to when Plus launched on the PS3 (and maybe Vita too) it probably explains it better than my ramblings.

I don't think so...can't you just use your Vita on your US account? I do, both my PS3 and Vita are US only. But then I've never purchased an EU content, so I wasn't missing out on anything.

Persona 4 Golden has been double confirmed for Feb 22nd by a NIS America press release. The PSN version will unusually be released on the 20th rather than the 22nd.

With the date now confirmed, a few pre-order options are showing up from the likes of Play, Amazon, Game etc, although they all seem to be around the same price range and I'm not aware of any special offers or bonuses at the moment (although it does come with a fancy skin for your Vita; well, my US copy did...)

Bloody bloody hell. Bought a load of Final Fantasy games for my Vita. Turns out I was signed in on my boyfriends account by mistake so I can't put them on my Vita. Fucking hell, the way Sony has the Vita locked down is ridiculous. Of course, Sony customer services will do shit all about it.

LOL well I'm sympathetic because its the kind of stupid thing that I'd manage to do (that would be in some bizarro type world where my wife has a PSN account of course) but to be fair its the kind of mistake that you couldn't make with physical media and would it kill them to have some kind of gifting games account functionality a la steam? I suspect not...

Anyway I told you you wanted one - I do so love being right :) Just as well you didn't hear me waffling when the WiiU launched! I don't have 50games for my Vita though - although I do have half a dozen either in skrink wrap or yet to be launched (not counting PS+ stuff either) - somethings never change ;)

Phone them up, tell them your idiot son bought a bunch of stuff when your back was turned and now you can't pay for your genital wart cream or some shit. They should cancel the transactions.

Yesterday Siliconera posted a nice little feature on dungeon-crawler Demon Gaze which went some way towards explaining how it's attempting to deliver a more accessible game than most other entries in the genre. I don't follow the genre that much bit it looks like an interesting game. :)

Awww man. Everytime I read about a new dungeon crawler I get excited, until I realise it's the type I don't like. I keep mistaking loot em ups like Diablo for the traditional dungeon crawlers

Maybe this is too obvious or maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't mistakes like this be easily avoided by having different background wallpaper images on each account?

Except, even that functionality wouldn't have helped in this situation - with steam, mistakenly buy a game on somebody else's account and you're buggered unless you set it as a gift to start with... which you wouldn't be doing if you were accidentally purchasing a game on someone else's account.

(in general though, yes, gifting would be nice)

Hell yes! Charming, tough as nails puzzleplatformer Dokuro finally gets released all of a sudden, this thursday for €15!

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2013/01/28/ghoulish-platformer-dokuro-charms-on-ps-vita-this-week/#more-109291

Does anybody know of anything "improved" since the American release months ago (I read there was some iffy collision detection, making for some ultra-difficult stages)

Lumines will be nice to have on PS+. It was the first retail game I had for my Vita, and while I'm largely "done" with the game it's something I'd like to go back to once in a while, especially without having to piss around with the cart. Hopefully the filesize isn't too large.
