Its EDF, 4 player co op, pale wing and new levels...i'd pay 40..take my money.

Damn right, day one for me too. At least this has had some effort put into it. You're essentially getting another game with Pale Wing being put into it (along with all her weapons) and online coop as well ? I say gaaaaaaawddamn.

I just want all the XBLA and PSN stuff on the Vita. I can't be arsed booting the 360 up for Super Meat Boy or Mark of the Ninja but would happily play them on the Vita, in fact I'd rather do that much more than the a to b shiteness of AC:L or some other 'AAA' on a portable.

High five ...a few new guns, the entire weapon set for the pale wing (thunder bow  ) ..about 7 new levels...some new enemies (reskins...gold ants, gold hectors, white spiders)..i want to hook it up to my tv.

OOOOH I'll have to try them. Also, people add me! ChuChu81. I've only a few on my list who I have been keeping up with - Brad being one, until this piece of advice ripped my score to pieces.

Sometimes I find the powerup gems hard to distinguish, meaning I spend 10 seconds looking for a match when there is one right there in front of me.

I just don't get that game. Maybe it's becuase I'm colourblind. I can never seem to work out what the hell I'm meant to be doing.

I'll join you with our fellow 10% of the male population that can't see colours properly. I'm mostly OK on Montezuma except for the Blue and purple gems which look very similar to me.

PS. orange & purple totems FTW!

I've been rocking that load out for a long time now and my highest is 27mill. Do you bother having any of the others active or just those 2? I often wondered if the dynamite and lighting gems had a negative impact on my chaining ability. I've been having a dry run on Montezuma, with seemingly good goes netting me f-all points and then on what felt like a moderate performance I got 12Mill. It's like there's a nuance to the scoring system that has evaded me.

Sorry guys :(

Ha it's OK it's all about the competition right.

Sumioni next week - any interest?

Acquire’s action-packed PS Vita platformer Sumioni: Demon Arts is slated for release in the European PlayStation Store on 16th January, for the entirely affordable price of €9.99/£7.99. Soon, the epic travels of the demon Agura, the lion god Shidou and the firebird goddess Yomihi through feudal Japan will brighten up those OLED screens all across the many countries of the EU!

PS Blog Europe

I quite like the style of it but I'd probably have to see more of the combat and stuff to know if it remains interesting over the course of the game :)

I don't use any of the destructive power ups - like you, I find they mess up my combos more than they help.

Matching a block which has the little coins hovering over it can be worth huuuge points if combined with a high combo multiplier. And don't be afraid to keep shuffling the board to help get plenty of orange/purple matches.

I suspected that wa the case but I've never tried... That's one for the journey home ;)

Has anyone managed to get the nuke trophy on ToMB yet?

Nope, not yet.
