think i'll have that, to go with the free month i'm already using.

also, if anybody hasnt tried travel bug yet, do it. its free and has trophies if you care about that kind of thing.

basically its just a way to send random strangers photos, the ones i got back all seem to be from that i'm a celebrity show, had 3 in my net today, but it only let me return one. not sure if thats the limit or i did something wrong. theres certainly potential for comedy though.

Finished Uncharted. Ended up quite liking it as around the point where I thought it was coming to an end, it turned out there was another third to go, which was the best third of the game. Way too many cut scenes though- I've gone back to play a few earlier levels just for the pleasure of happily skipping the cut scenes. Some of the dialogue was bizarre as well- like Drake to the woman he's with when she brings out a cigarette lighter to light some torches- "I thought only old men who smoked cigars carried lighters." ...huh?

But after playing through Black Ops and giving up for the moment on Assassin's Creed, it was good to play something polished and with a decent amount of content.

I think that's the Dev's, nudge, wink, Sully reference.

I really enjoyed uncharted it really finds it's groove towards the end once it's stopped force feeding you touch stuff.

That's great. I've had the PS3 demo for ages, but it never quite got my to pull the trigger on a purchase. I shall be plucking this up though!

Clucking Hell, complete missed this, it looks eggselent. Yet another great title to keep me busy.

For another perspective, I think it's a great game that holds up really well - the controls are actually very precise, they just take getting used to, and the old problematic camera is much alleviated by the greater control you now have. Agreed on the visuals and soundtrack, obv.

NB - this is based on the 360 version - I'm assuming the Vita adaptation is as good a conversion.

It's worth getting in the hope of them converting the massively superior sequel.

I never really clicked with Jet Set Radio Future, the graffiti seemed to lack the elegance of the DC original. Nevertheless I'd certainly invest more time in it if it came to Vita.

In other news, I've nearly completed NFS:MW, just a couple of security gates to find (annoyingly as they are not on the map, like the billboards and cameras are) and some multilayer trophies to get for the Platinum. Truly great game, best handheld racer ever made, although it's a little rough you do get the feeling the Criterion could have done with a few more months to really polish this version as there are a few rough edges, adhoc multilayer would also be a nice addition. However, special mention must go out to the sound design which is really well done and the constant police chatter during pursuits is really well done and seems to be made up of a great deal of samples (or some voice synthtech) it rarely repeats and makes the police feel alive. Amusingly the constant call by the police to use the 'pit' (Pursuit Intervention Technique) manoeuvre to capture your car eventually ends in one of the police shouting "Pit!, Brad Pit!" (I've heard it twice now so I know it's not my imagination).

Oh 2.01 is out which should fix cloud saves... or something.

Is Jet Set Radio worth getting for this? I never really gave it enough time on the Dreamcast.

It depends - the Dreamcast original was kind of flawed as well, and those original gripes - the timed challenges, the awkward camera, the amount of forward-planning needed before you can start a "proper" attempt at a level, climbing upwards for ages before being blown off a roof by a helicopter - are all present in HD, but the re-release doesn't add any new things to complain about (well, maybe the inferior US soundtrack... ;) ) I actually prefer Future as a game, but this is still a nice distraction...
