Playstation Vita

It's not on there. :(

I'm constantly looking for it on the store but it's a long shot. The original is such a quality rpg, it would definitely do well on the uk/eu store. Just gotta keep those fingers crossed I guess.

Thanks, such a shame that hasn't made an appearance yet. Probably the PSP game I miss playing the most.

I think that for quality titles its the best launch of all time. Its only been out in the UK for 9 months!

But, Sony need to do more - a price drop is essential. I said it was too expensive at launch - if Sony really are going to beat the 3ds then they need to be cheaper.

It also needs much better marketing - particularly for future releases - I have little idea what is coming for the system in 2013 and I am always looking for news on the system. Is there a decent website that covers the Vita?

If they dropped the price, then what? That's not a card you want to play early: not only does it mean you no longer have that option in your back pocket, the earlier you do it the more of a loss you're making for longer. Better to ride out one rough Christmas whilst the platform matures, especially when your core demographic aren't kids that rely on holidays and birthdays for new toys; Sony's after people with disposable income, the type of customer not tied to seasonal purchases.

I'm not saying a price drop wouldn't give the device a sales bump, but for now I think it makes more sense to work on getting people wanting one in the first place. Perception is the Vita's biggest enemy, this pall of doom and gloom that insists there's no reason to own one; it's "PS3 has no games" all over again. For instance we know about as much about Vita's 2013 releases as we do the 3DS — or any other platform after March, really — yet that information, or lack thereof, is spun in completely different ways based on the existing narrative surrounding the systems.

Obviously the Vita needs to turn its fortunes around, especially in Japan, but I don't see a price cut as a silver bullet. Fact is we're talking about a luxury item, something that people will find the money for if they really want one. So, how do you make people want one? Naturally letting them know it exists would be good, but I will say that Plus is a smart seed to plant: a few months from now you're going to have a lot of PS3 owners looking at a library of Vita games they already own, so they're practically saving money if they buy a machine to play them, right?

Is PS+ really that big a seller though? Even on this forum, full of people very informed about games, it took someone to raise it in a thread before a lot of people even realised what it was.

Sony don't seem to be doing a good job of promoting it.

Only reason I'm not on PS+ Vita is I've already played the games it's promoted with, and the one I haven't (Gravity Rush) is already purchased as a Xmas game. However, as soon as it sticks a load of new must have games on the list, I'll be in like Flynn.

Has anybody tried 1080p video on it yet? as the latest update enabled that feature, there is hardly any info about it, googling only found one person mention it seems to support level4.1 now. If it has comprehensive level support now, and the memory cards were significantly cheaper and it supported streaming, I'd get one, a couple of games I'm interested in, but it'd be nice as a portable media player.

Back up vita. Reset it. Sign in wuth US. Account install Netflix then set back tov UK account. Google for more precise instructions

Would I lose my content and settings?

Or could I just use my 4GB card to get Netflix, then copy that to my 16GB card?

Will look into it if nothing annoucned by Christmas.

Bought a £30 PS+ 12 Month card from HMV today. :)

Think I'll wait a little while before using it as I still have JSR and Katamari to complete... probably use it nearer Christmas as that's when I'll be catching up on gaming.

Rented Katamari. It is now another I have added to my wanted list.

Oh yeah, doesn't P4 have two hours or something before you have control of the game? I love it, but I do not know how they thought that was acceptable.

It's not quite two hours, but anyway I think it needs most of it. It's quite story/character based, so you need to buy into these kids, get to know them, etc. And it's quite a complicated beast at times with Social links and your own skills and how they affect levelling, and so on. And there's so much to bloody do! I reckon it's a tiny bit drawn out, but doesn't feel frustratingly so.

It's worth the mess around, it's a nice app. A bit slow to buffer initially, but I put that down to my shitty connection more than anything. Remembers where you viewed up to when you log back in again, which is cool.

Not quite Trials Evolution, but hey at the right price I might bite.

Forgot about this. If they can make sure they steal all of the good bits from Trials, then we're onto a winner.

Unless there are any PS3 games you want that are on there currently, that's a fair enough plan.
