When is JSR out?

'Winter' apparently so any time between now and March 2013! I think it may be a victim of strategic realignment, basically filling gaps in the release schedule next year so all those folks that get a Vita for Xmas have some new content in the new year.

On a slightly unrelated note - if you like racing games and ever thought it would be cool to have a portable version of Burnout Paradise then you really should get NFS:MW it's very, very good and amazing to play an open world racer on a portable.

An interesting Persona 4 Golden piece from Joystiq was posted yesterday, highlighting the game's new mechanic of seeing what decisions other players had made in the story and using this as guidance. I don't think that it's quite as crucial as Dark Souls' graffiti - PS2 players have managed to complete the game without hints, after all - but I hadn't really considered the comparison before...

Yeah, it's almost an interesting feature. I turned it off immediately though as the game loads faster without having to upload data every time you enter or exit a screen.

Sounds like an extension of Catherine's results screen

That's actually something else that came to mind after I made that post. :D Then again, I suppose you could argue that the choices made in P4 have a more immediate impact in the game - choosing to do another day's grinding instead of socialising could make your chances against the next boss that little bit better, whilst Cathy's questions only really seemed to matter towards the end.

(Although I did kind of enjoy those pie-chart moments too... )

Anyone having problems with Little Big Planet? I'm on the Odd Rocket level, and 3 times in a row its frozen just after I reach the clock walker. I can't move, no buttons work, I can press start to return to pod or quit, that's it. Any ideas? Had a quick search and found gpu crashes but not boring old freezes.

It's probably one of my favourite games of 2012 - it's got a really charming atmosphere and brilliant presentation, and when you're levelled up the amount of freedom is amazing - I never expected to be given so much free reign after trying the demo. I enjoyed the diversity of the world as well - when you've boosted your shifting abilities you can fly from one area to the next without bothering with the train, and seeing the sky and colours change as you arrive is nice. I still got a bit annoyed by some of the combat, but mostly because I was always trying for long-range kicks and finding that the enemy had moved before I had reached them. Great game though.

I hope we see a sequel to Gravity Rush, although there's one change I think it would benefit from immensely: R should make you fall into the screen, L have you 'reverse' from what you're looking at, whilst pressing L+R would make you float in place. As is the camera controls can be a bit fiddly, but if you could back away without swinging your view around 180° it would make for a lot less flailing.

Couldn't agree more! Quite insightful considering your tag! :)

I got the vikings attack game, its ok but the sort of thing that with the app store on ios feels like its just not worth the £8, its the sort of thing you can get for 69p.

not much depth to it either, you just walk around picking stuff up and flinging it, nice art style but far too expensive.
