Went in blockbusters the other day and they had ridge racer and moderation racers for a tenner. Lumines for £13, marvel vs capcom 3, wipeout, formula 1 and unit 13 for £15 and uncharted for £25. Pretty good deals. I was tempted to pick some up to replace the digital versions I have (I have precious little space on my card now).

I want to order the US version of Persona 4 Golden but vgplus are out of stock on pre order allocations. However, Play Asia will do it for approx 28 pounds delivered which is fine by me. However, do people get stung with customs from stuff by them at that value? The big advantage of vgplus is the marking down/gift of the games.

Play Asia will mark down if you ask. However they're not the fastest, doubly so if it's a US game they're sourcing. Tronixare an excellent NYC based company who mark down and ship fast, however their postage isn't the cheapest. They use FedEx as standard so if you order from them it's best to try and get 2 or 3 things at the same time to maximise the $14 postage. Going from them works out at about a fiver more but you will get it much quicker.

Both stores allow you to enter comments when you buy, though it's probably worth emailing them with the order number too in regard to marking down. Dunno if you're aware but the limit is only £15 for merchandise before tax is due so ask them to mark it at $20.

Personally I intend to buy the game from PSN. You can buy digital USA PSN vouchers at cost from Amazon USA, all you need to do is give them any US address and they'll accept your UK payment card. The code comes instantly, basically it's on screen the moment after you click "pay now".

I just realised I dont own a racing game for the Vita. There are quite a few - anyone have any recommendations?

Another vote for Need for Speed Most Wanted which is turning into the best portable racing game ever made. It may not look as good as PS3/PC/360 versions but it plays perfectly. So very addictive too ...

Did you setup a separate US account to do that, I've been paying the extra and getting them off eBay since BestBuy stopped selling them

Honestly I don't remember, I've ordered from them over the years. FWIW the email and password is the same for both the UK and US store. My US orders don't appear in the UK order section and vice versa, however my UK account definitely has the US address I used stored in there so I'm leaning towards the idea they are linked. You can't use UK gift vouchers/ credit on USA though.

However it's fruitless anyway as Amazon USA don't have them in stock and according to this they won't in the future. Gutted really, I used BestBuy and it appears Amazon USA has gone the same way.

My new hope is that the USA PSN gets Paypal as an option to pay like the UK does as I think that might be a work around.

Edit- just realised that article I linked is Oct 2011 and not 2012... I ordered points approx 2 weeks ago from them, maybe they will get them back in stock.

Last post on the issue, honest.

Amazon USA again have the PSN download codes, $20 for $20 no seller markup. Just enter any US address and they'll accept your UK payment card. Pick a state with no sales tax, I chose a MA. address, think NYC is the same too.

FIFA13 is a roster update and nothing more for FIFA Football that came out at launch - it's identical in every other respect. I'm not a football game expert, but I really, really like it. It's essentially based on the FIFA 11 (I think) engine, so if you're a hardcore football fan you'll probably be able to pick holes in it, but I think the rear touch for shooting and even the touchscreen passing transform the game into something significantly different than the home console versions and possibly better in some respects. It's great to just dip into now and again - it's certainly not a shitty port and something to be avoided like the plague.

Thanks for the feedback. Think I'll add FIFA 13 to my Christmas list in place of Assassin's Creed III. Dipping into it every now and again is exactly what I'm after.

Hopefully next year Madden will get a proper look in on this wonderful little console. That it has so much damn potential is most infuriating.

...when I started in Persona 4 Golden, I vowed that I wouldn't let all of the decisions get me down. I would just play through the story organically as possible, taking extra care to pay attention to the local gossip. If I missed a social link or three along the way, then so be it.

As it turns out, though, I needn't have worried. In porting Persona 4 to the Vita, Atlus has opted to take a page from Dark Souls and the results thus far have been very interesting.

An interesting Persona 4 Golden piece from Joystiq was posted yesterday, highlighting the game's new mechanic of seeing what decisions other players had made in the story and using this as guidance. I don't think that it's quite as crucial as Dark Souls' graffiti - PS2 players have managed to complete the game without hints, after all - but I hadn't really considered the comparison before...

Thanks. They've got both the $50 and $20 vouchers back on their site so I created a US account just to be sure. Sadly I didn't get the code straight away and it looks like I've got a 4 hour wait to receive it.

Just a warning though, it's still pretty shit as a game. I'm pretty close to giving up on it. Latest mission- go talk to someone. Wait for cut scene to end. Be sent halfway across the map to talk to someone else.

It's like some bizarre experiment in seeing how much tedium you can take before giving up.

Very disappointed how poor AC3 sounds on it, that was one I was considering for Christmas.

In better news, I really like Ridge Racer. I think £10 with the DLC you get in the Ultimate Edition is what it should retail for all the time as I'm unsure you could make a worse interface for the front part of the game, but once you actually get to race it's the fun Ridge always is. It's pretty funny (not really) that I had to look up how to actually get all the DLC and stuff once I had it downloaded, they don't actually tell you it's all done manually so I was wondering where the hell all my stuff was for the first night I had it.
