Also I was going to get Pure Chess earlier and noticed there was a Halloween bundle pack... yet they don't actually say what it is!

It's the game and the halloween piece set dlc. I'm not a big chess player, but picked it up on a whim and really enjoying it - it's very slick.

Last month Persona 4 Golden’s European publisher NIS America announced that the game would be available during spring 2013 - some months after its November 20th US release date.

Now NIS America has brought forward the game’s European launch to February 22nd, which just so happens to be the PS Vita’s one-year anniversary! According to the publisher this date is “tentative” so it could still change in the coming months.

Okay, that could mean anything, but right now I'll take speculation over nothing...

So AC3 Liberation plays pretty much (so far) as any other Assasins Creed :) I am loving having a bit more of a motivation this time and can't get enough of killing racist slave master pigs!

Graphics are ok. They are impressive in terms of how much the Vita is pushing but the colours feel a bit washed out and texture work is a bit rough around the edges.

Going to pick up Need for Speed today too!

Yup, same in Blockbuster yesterday - nothing but preowned launch games ("what else is there lolz etc") . The guy was almost apologetic when I asked where the Vita games had moved to.

They did have Assasins Creed Liberation however but it was in the back - £39.99 which is about as good a price online

It's on it's arse at retail, but then Sony seem to be truly awful at marketing their games these days

I was in Game yesterday and their Vita section was pathetic. No Little Kings Story and much more surprisingly, no Assassins Creed. And they want £44.99 for Uncharted.

I thought they were supposed to really be behind the Vita.

At our local tesco extra they have moved the vita section right next to the ps3 section and were actually sold out of quite a few things. Prices were a shitload less than 44 though which might explain why.

It'll be a real shame if this ends up with everyone hoping for a full low-level hack to turn it into an emulation device. It is possible to make excellent games on Vita. Rayman is proof of that. It looks stunning and plays brilliantly too.

As it does in the identical 360 and PS3 versions. The Vita needs its own identity and a constant stream of smaller app style games like Motorstorm and Mutant Blobs, if it had these I'd pick mine up a hell of a lot more. It's a great console but seems to have been left to die by Sony and retailers alike. The only console I regret purchasing, which is a massive shame.

Yeah, I'm starting to get that way a bit too. I don't regret it because I've got a nice catalogue of PSP titles on it and few Vita games I really enjoy, but it does feel like games like COD and Assassin's Creed were developed back where there was still a bit of buzz and hope around the Vita.

Even companies like R* who supported the PSP massively (eight games all together including three original titles) seem to be ignoring it in favour of iOS devices. And while stores I've been to in Asia have decent Vita sections, the ones in the UK seem miniscule to the point of being derisory. As happy as I am to be able to play Max Payne, GTA3 and Vice City on the iPhone, I'd love to have seen them being ported over to the Vita as digital downloads as well.

I just think the Mini Store is a classic example of something done wrong. You see the titles, but no screenshots, nothing to really show you what sort of game it is. Sure, you can google all the titles one by one, but compared to the App Store where you get four or five screenshots, user reviews, big blurbs... it's counter-intuitive to impulse purchasing.

You'd have to be incrediably naive to think they weren't doing that since the machine was released. Stuff all that though.

Oh I know that's been work in progress since day one. I'm just saying I don't want that to be the ONLY thing left. I want to not even care about that because I'm swamped with Vita awesomeness.

Anyone importing Ragnarok Odyssey? Quite like the look of it, but the few reviews I've read online seem to totally disagree- Destructoid give it 90%, IGN give it 50%

Little bit of chatter on bordersdown about it:

Seems as though it's liked.
