I quite fancy giving a dj max game a go, is this the one you have?

http://www.play-asia...en-70-5cfp.html

Did you get it any cheaper than that?

thats it, exactly where i got it too, although i went for the japanese version instead of korean.

only gone through a few songs, but its very good so far. just getting used to all the different types of press that come up. and remembering which is which.

Sounds good. Looking for a cheaper one I found out its coming out in America on the 26th, still couldn't find it much cheaper though.

I haven't got either but the concensus seems to be that there is absolutely NO difference between 13 and Fifa Football on the Vita except for some minor cosmetic touches. Check Here for example.

If you don't have any Fifa games you might as well start with Football, it's about twice as cheap as 13.

Shocking reviews on amazon.

Personally, im quite tempted to pick up Fifa 12 if its just a roster update. Need some footie on the vita.

Shame that Pro Evo 13 isnt coming out for the Vita, with EA fucking up the new release they could have sold quite a few copies (er, maybe)

Just came across this absolutely enchanting little thing: Dokuro

http://www.gunghoonline.com/games/dokuro/

...apparently to be released this month in the US for about $20, with +20 hrs of gameplay and a platinum trophy to obtain - so I guess it must be bigger in scope than Escape Plan.

the artwork and especially the music are :wub: reallllyy looking forward to this now

Hopefully we will see a EU release, for some reason I thought it was that other 2D platformer with the Okami brush style.

no mention in the thread yet of the DS 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors sequel coming to Vita ?

I have a pre-order in for late november with Amazon. Is it really on its way?

If it is anything like the original it will be amazing bizarre "ace attourney style murder mystery multi ending/true ending super-puzzle mind-fuck-em up" that is was :blink:

LBP Vita is the first LBP I finally like, and I've tried the first two, trust me.

Same here...it's absolutely marvellous - especially in 4 player mode. And there are already some fantastic user generated levels out there. I encourage everyone to go to vita.lbp.me and queue up some most hearted levels for later play.

Nobody tried the Mad Blocker Alpha hack yet? Pretty easy to do, although I think they've removed the game for the store now. It only lets you play PSP games and homebrew, but it's nice to finally be able to play Metal Gear Acid.

Apparently, there are problems running emulators (the only reason I would do the hack). Has this been solved?

I couldn't find anywhere that adequately explained what to do. Do you have a link?

I couldn't find anywhere that adequately explained what to do. Do you have a link?

- Instructions

* You just should either have the mini "Urbanix" or "Mad Blocker Alpha: ROTF" from PS Store. Else, you're fucked ;-)

* Extract the associated folder (see below) to "PSAVEDATA/*SOMECHARACTERS*/..." and copy the new savedata to your PSVita with CMA.

* Launch the mini and after the savedata loading the screen should be flashed WHITE, before it automatically starts "TNMenu 0.2".

- If you got here a RED screen, that means the exploit couldn't be initialized.

- If you got a PURPLE screen, that means CEF couldn't be started.

- Associated savedata folders

* Urbanix EU: NPEZ00176

* Urbanix US: NPUZ00077

* MBA EU: NPEZ00327CPMEM

* MBA US: NPUZ00210CPMEM

- About "Custom Emulator Firmware "CEF" 6.60 TN"

Actually it isn't correct to call it "CEF 6.60 TN", because the kernel is always 6.60, but changes are within the PSVita Firmware. But anyways, it doesn't matter how the CFW is called.

--This "CEF" does NOT have anything to configure yet. All configurations of the previous Custom Firmwares are not available, as they are not useful for "CEF".

--It DOES NOT support PSX. By emulating 6.60 pops modules I get PSX working, but there is no sound, so better let it be.

Features:

* Possibility to load unsigned homebrews and modules.

* Possibility to load plugins (NPEZ00176/GAME.TXT, NPEZ00176/POPS.TXT).

* Possibility to play backups with March33 and Sony NP9660 driver.

* Possibility to get back to TN Menu by holding the START BUTTON for some seconds.

* "CEF" renames "EBOOT.PBP" to "FBOOT.PBP".

* Protects you from removing license files, else you have to download the game from PSN Store again.

- About "TN Menu"

This menu is developed with OSLib. IT IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT, so it may have some bugs.

Control:

* [] to open the configuration menu.

* /\ to delete a file.

* X to install a homebrew, move backups, or to load a homebrew/game.

* Arrows to move.

Prepare homebrews:

* Create an ZIP archive of the homebrew, saved as: "FILENAME.ZIP/PSP/GAME/*THE_HOMEBREWS_NAME*/EBOOT.PBP".

* "FILENAME.ZIP" can be saved somehow, it just MUST BE UPPER CASE LETTER and the filename can ONLY BE 8 CHARACTERS LONG.

* Save the archive in the savedata folder.

Install ISO/CSO:

* Copy backup file to the savedata folder, UPPER CASE LETTER, 8 CHARACTERS LONG.

* Start TN Menu and press X on the game to move it to "ms0:/ISO/" (you'll reach ~2000 KB/s).

If you want to donate me some snacks and drinks, just click here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=8158859

Thank you :)

- User Interface for TN Menu

If you wanna help me making a design for TN Menu, just feel free, and draw these images as an application for more orders:

* DEFAULT.PNG 144x80

* CORRUPT.PNG 144x80

* BATTERY_SKIN.PNG (size doesn't matter)

* BATTERY.PNG (inside the skin)

* PROGRESS_BAR_SKIN.PNG (size doesn't matter)

* PROGRESS_BAR.PNG (inside the skin)

* BAR.PNG (where the game title is) 480x26

* OPTION_MENU.PNG (which scrolls up) 480x246

* BACKGROUND.PNG 480x272

Colors, style and etc. are up to you.

Send these images to my email: total_noob@hotmail.com

Please don't waste your time, if you aren't talented. I'll only pick up the best ;)

- Porting CEF

If you want to port CEF to other user exploits, just check the "H" folder, for "normal" people, that isn't interesting.

You don't have to modify any files, just use these files:

* TN.BIN

* FLASH0.TN

* MENU.PBP

* DEFAULT.PNG

NOTE: Always use this document and add your name to credits when you release any ports.

- Credits

* Dark_AleX, author of Custom Firmware: Thank you master for your impressive work, I always admired you :)

* Thanks to Takka for his ISO/CSO reader.

* Thanks to xerpi who found Urbanix Exploit EU.

* Thanks to Frostegater for MBA Exploit.

* Thanks everyone who collected bugs.

Enjoy it;)

Is Snes9x working?

It's working as well as it ever did on the psp, which means yes, but there are still certain issues with some mode-7 heavy games. Games like LTTP, Chrono trigger and FFVI play fine.

GBA and Mega Drive emu works well too, which means that the vita can finally take its rightful place in my life as a streets of rage machine.

The hack lets pretty much any psp homebrew work fine, the main problem with it is that it runs from within the psp emulator, so everything is limited to psp levels of performance - the vita on paper could brute force traditional problems with snes and n64 emulation that the psp had, but you don't have access to any of that power with this hack. We aren't going to see people playing games like Super Mario 64 on their vitas in any playable state with this, annoyingly.

I'll try to find one, but I had to dig around a lot to work it out as well and there wasn't one simple guide going through the whole thing.

You install the Content Management Assistant (or whatever it's called) on your computer, then it creates some folders which your Vita will then look at for content to copy over when you launch it's content manager.

There's a hacked save for MBA, once you've put that in the right save games folder and copied it over, launched MBA will bring you to a menu which shows all PSP games on your Vita.

Getting games on was another pain, there's a few ways to do it but the one that worked for me was installing a homebrew FTP client on the Vita.

Fuck, I'm pissed that I missed these games when they were on PSN :facepalm:

They haven't improved them, it's pretty much the exact same game as the previous two, but with some added touch screen shenanigans. But the length of the levels suit the device really well. I've also got two friends who're playing this and being able to play co-op with them over wifi while laying in bed is nice.

Please add me on Vita as well, and we can have some nice games: Omizzay2

Cheers

My avatar is Dokuro. It's a very charming game and really worth a punt if it makes it on to PSN in Europe.

okay, one question: does the beautiful flute soundtrack (never believed I would ever say something like this) continue during the whole game? (or in some variations?) Or is it just @ the start, never to be heard of again somewhere else in the game?

You should enjoy it. Since they added the PSP and more downloadable games its improved drastically. You might get a bit bored of the system titles after awhile as there's hardly a rush of new ones but its early days and it will improve. There's plenty of other stuff now to keep you going.
