Bought Mutant Blobs and played the first four levels. It's fun! :D Definitely meatier than most iOS games, although I'm just glad that I can play this with a d-pad and face buttons.

Hehehe, I just finished them all! :D Finally, after more than four years of collecting trophies, I've finally managed to get my first Platinum one! Thank you, Sound Shapes!

... Although I did cheat a bit: I found the Beat School mode to be the antithesis of compelling and fun, so I just Googled how to beat them. But I did the hardest thing (Death Mode) myself entirely, so I'm still very proud of the Platinum trophy. Man, some of the challenges were fucking INSANE! I was THIS close to smashing my Vita against the wall after reaching the time limit only millimeters away from collecting the last musical note on some of the challenges, hahaha! What a game :D

If you have a PS3 sync your Soundshapes save on Vita with the cloud (it's in options somewhere). Then download the PS3 version and get your Vita save from the cloud and see that single plat turn into 2 (and all the other trophies). I've not tried this myself but that's what happens with Motorstorm RC.

JetSetRadio HD is available in today's store update, along with Tomba for PS1. I'm looking forward to a bit of JSR even though I know that the rose tinted specs will get shattered by it's oldschool gameplay. Also my 32GB card has arrived! So now I can stop deleting stuff!

Ooh, PS Mobile games have just shown up in the Store.

Excellent! Now Vita owners can experience the fun of 40pence shit mobile phones games! yay!

Actually I'll go and take a look right away. I shouldn't dismiss it before checking it out.

PlayStation briefly posted this week’s PSN Store Update before yanking it, tweeting that the list would appear at 3pm today. Well, it’s now back, and it’s missing Jet Set Radio for the PS Vita.

It was there – for £6.49, and at 1100MB, but now it’s not, the edited, amended PS Blog post not making any mention of the mobile version at all.

The game is originally planned for release in two weeks time.

Downloaded a lot of the Playstation Mobile games today, and can heartily recommend Twist Pilot, Aqua Kitty and Super Crate Box. All seem to be great little time wasrters, with Twist Pilot in particular being my personal fave. Whilst it really nails the instant gratification of an arcade game, if you're trying to collect all the stars, you'll have to put a lot of thought into which power ups to use and when.

Fuel Tiracas is a simple and cheap (40p) title, which is all about testing your reflexes. It's not particularly deep, but it'll sure give your thumbs a good work out. :)

Hungry Giraffe is a daft little climbing game, which is somewhat reminiscent of Gravity Hook.

I've got a few more yet to play, but judging from this first set, it's delvering just what Sony promised it would, cheap and cheerful games with a reasonable quality threshold. I hope there's plenty more on the way.

Twist Pilot is a remake of the GBA Kururin by the look of it which can only be a good thing.

That's where I recognise it from. I had that for the GBA, wasn't it a launch title or really, really close to launch? This has got a lot more personality, but yeah, I think the basic mechanics are the same.

Had a lot of fun with that Hungry Giraffe game last night. Simple mechanics but addictive as hell. :)

Dear god ...

I don't have enough hours in the day to play the up comming list of Vita games, I'm kind of pleased that Persona 4 isn't going to make it to EU this year. So far my Vita shopping list is: -

LBPV

New Little King Story

JSR HD

ACIII:L

Ragnarock Odyssey

NFS:MW

And that's just October, although Ragnarock doesn't have a confirmed date for Europe which makes it a bit easier on the wallet this month...

Ha yes I worked it out in the end it's MGS unintuative ... It's ringing so you tap it nothing happens... Because its not equipped! Stupid me that's what I get for not playing the game for weeks then going back to it.
