Hmmm that doesn't sound right. Not sure about PSOne games but I played Persona 3 for a couple of hours in bed last night, put it in standby overnight and the battery still shows as full!

My Vita is the same. I'm constantly putting it into standby whilst playing a game and leaving it overnight with no significant drop in battery level

So am I just unlucky or is there a battery drain issue if putting the system on standby while running a PSone game? On a full charge I put Arc The Lad in sleep mode last night and went to boot my Vita up today, only to have it not respond to anything. I was worried it was broken but plugging it in soon revealed it was out of juice. Brilliantly enough it resumed exactly where I had left Arc The Lad. Which was nice.

Did you click the home button and then put it to sleep, or just put it to sleep?

I've found with PSP games if I leave them 'playing' as it were then they drain the battery, however if I click the home button and then put it to sleep the Vita is fine, could well be the same issue with the PSOne emulation.

Thank you! £28 and FREE shipping?! That's too good to be true! Just to double check, it will work perfectly with my UK Vita/ EU PSN?

Yep.

Just the usual caveats around online multiplayer (it has none) and you won't be able to download any DLC. But as of now, there has been no Japanese DLC so far or any plans for it (and it was released in June), so you'll (more than likely) not miss out on anything.

I've had FF7 on sleep after pressing Home since this AM and still have full power.

Other people on GAF have reported the same thing; Standby mode when playing PS1 games eats the battery.

It may be some other bug that's doing that I've had a few instances of unexpected battery drain before the PSone update. Conversely I had the Jetmoto PSone (awful game but it was free on plus)game suspended all night and still have the half charge I'd left it on before bed.

I started the US import version of Resident Evil 2 downloading on my PS3 before leaving for work this morning to transfer over to my Vita and now feel ridiculously excited about getting home and playing it. I haven't played it since it first came out and feel just as excited as I did on that day!

I'm going home to crushing disappointment, aren't I?

I'd be surprised if you can share a save between the US Vita and UK PS3 versions. You definitely can't use a US PS3 save with the UK PS3 game.

I'm not expecting much to be honest. However I know why the saves aren't cross compatible on ps3 because it's the same on 360 (it can be 'fixed' on 360 if you know how). It won't necessarily be the same with Vita saves, all depends how it processes them.

I've had the exact same thing with PSP games. Strange.

I had the same with Crash Bandicoot, although admittedly I had bought that on a PS3 a while ago. Other games I've previously bought like that have been fine though. I guess they're having a few issues with some games for whatever reason. Bit bad that it lets you buy them and then tells you that you can't download them though.
