What are this years big Christmas games? GT5? Call of Duty Black Ops? Are either of these actually good?

What about the whole Kinect/Move stuff? Which is best? Are they actually good and have genuinely good games to play on them?

See, I want something gamey for Christmas, if its good! But i've really fallen out of the loop where it comes to games recently, I don't know what seen as decent or not!

Educate me and others who are in my position...

Loads of stuff that's already out, which i thought would go cheap. So far so good...

Dead Rising 2 (17.95 on zavvi)

Fallout New Vegas (19.99 gamestation)

Castlevania (17.95 zavvi)

Medal Of Honor (tier 1 / standard is the next game in 19.99 gamestation deal apparently)

Mafia II (24.99 on amazon, kept it's value this one)

Splatterhouse (certain it will be under £20 by xmas)

Karzee, Apache is already £17.95 at zavvi. How longs that been out, 2 weeks?

with those kinds of prices buying anything other than Fifa or COD at launch seems silly nowadays.

Not had a game for christmas since I was 11, but I'll certainly be trying to finish Deadly Premonition over Christmas. If that gets done I intend to start on Red Dead. I was abroad and PC-bound so couldn't play it when it came out and so I've waited until it's reached a PC game price.

I've gone halves with my mother on the Fallout: New Vegas collectors edition. I've also bought myself The Saboteur, Darksiders and Dantes Inferno, which will be getting wrapped up.

Not bad really, I dont usually get any games for Crimbo. I'd pick up Fable 3 or NFS: Hot Persuit if either of them drop sub £20 before Xmas is over.

Every game seems to drop to £17.95 online within a month, so it's pretty easy to ask for games you wouldn't normally buy yourself but fancy a crack at.

I've added Vanquish, Castlevania, Fable 3 and Enslaved to my Christmas list.

Do you remember being excited for months and months about that one game though? I remember waiting five agonising weeks to play Sonic Spinball. That was a shit Christmas.
