Cyhwuhx
So that's how you appease shareholders after your FPS designed to meet CoD fails to meet expectations. Seriously though, I assume they have a very specific target audience in mind for this.

NecroMorrius
Does anyone remember pure pwnage? I'd forgotten all about it but just googled it, somehow it's now an actual TV show on the same channel that shows burn notice.

At least the few early shows I watched were.

Raff
I doubt there is any crossover between EA's target demographic and the obnoxious tween counterstrike players who used the word pwned at least 4 years ago.

tobert
When I was at EA I suggested they should do a show similar to the inside xbox films (but better) for the xbox Dash and PSN but not sure it would look like this...

Jack Walsh's coffee shop
Wasn't Matt Cuttle involved with Gamezville? Two things from this ... 1). Why do we need this fucking old hat two presenters together bullshit? I can't stand those two tools on the ITN GameOn show. The least worst of the bunch being Inside Xbox UK. Despite their haircuts and clothes, the patter and timing have improved to the point we you can acknowledge that they're trying to better themselves. 2). Is this what the UK arm of EA are resorting to, perhaps as there isn't a anything on UK television that covers current games? Publishers should really put their money into enabling studios to make their own video productions. Some of the stuff the Burnout team did for Paradise was okay, but looked a bit ropey and those featured were either uncomfortable on camera or overly full of themselves. The best effort of late (in the realm of internal studio videos) would be these: Have heard word that EA (not just EA in the UK) are trying to leverage what they own in the entertainment space and with their own resources and money, make a variety of TV productions. That hasn't happened here as it's being done by external production company. Makes me wonder how many production companies have made off their own backs pilots for gaming centric shows, only to meet with this response from gatekeeper execs at UK broadcasters.
