There's a shrine at a certain part of the map awaiting a sacrifice.. no one has to know.

Did this one last night, funnily enough.

Got me some slap-head hireling from Solitude and told him we'd have all kinds of heroic adventures in the frozen north - dragons, treasure, drinking, wenching, singing.

But oh noes! Turns out I just needed a stooge to further my sick Daedra worship. He obediently touched said shrine at my innocent suggestion, and then got knifed in the f**king heart for his troubles. Bless.

Cost me 500 gold, but I feel it was worth it for the look on his stupid face.

Unfortunately, that's one of the few things in my game that I can't seem to activate for toffee. I've had Lydia, Mjoll and a random assassin up there, simply doesn't work for me. :(

Just checking, you are instructing your partner and not activating it yourself, right?

I suddenly discovered the perks on enchanting yesterday - up till now I have done a fair bit of disenchantimg/enchanting (I'm level 54 I think) but I've never been arsed with the perks, and can't for instance improve a magical weapon or owt. I think I will spend some serious time getting perky with enchanting now

Being able to imprive magical items is a massive bonus, my stats have went up nicely as a result.

Yup and they say they're going to do it and then they do fuck all. I even gave Mjoll a good stabbing and then some arrows when she got up again. She wasn't very happy but I calmed her down.

Same thing with the assassin, told them to press it, told them to stand in the circle, all sorts.

I had this a few times with my follower but after requesting the action again it seemed to work.

I just had to sacrifice Lydia to Boethiah. I only had 2 followers and my other was hard as hell and followed me for ages so it had to be Lydia.

*edit* Didnt even think about using a Mercenary

Before hiring slap-head, I had considered doing in Lydia, but I felt sorry for the poor, mad bitch, staring at my empty bed for 3 months while I'm off adventuring with Aela.

I'm surprised at all the talk of Lydia, she lasted all of about 5 minutes with me when i was level 10 or something.

First fight we get into, she walks in front of me just as i unleash a spout of flames and she doesn't move and dies. She didn't have particulary good loot either.

Haven't really bothered with any other companions other than the ones i'm forced to do quests with.

Uthgred the Unbroken is my follower. Give her a bow and a trusty two handed weapon and shell do you justice. Takes down enemies from a far but if they get close to her they better be ready to have their heads stoved in. Bitch is serious hard.

I too considered bumping her off on that quest but pity took over for me as well. I sacrificed the merc from Riften. He was a right cocky bastard but I felt a bit bad after doing it. I started to enjoy his over the top macho comments. He used to be an adventurer, until he took an arrow to the face whilst whilst magically strapped to a sacrificial pillar.

I'm going to kill every last one of my housecarls. Goddamn freeloaders living it up in the houses I've paid for, eating the food I provide, and they have the gall to act displeased whenever I ask them to carry twenty Dragon Scales. I will murder the lot of them and bury the bodies in the ocean.

Started playing this today. I rolled an ugly looking Orc and named him Dr.Lucien Sanchez. I was expecting horrified responses from all the NPC's but hideous Orcs must be ten-a-penny around Skyrim!

Enjoy your travels Dr. Orc. You a medical doctor or just a PhD in twatting things?

This was nearly the first thing I did when I started my evil thief character. bye bye lydia, the quest even uses the name of who ever you slay :P

Some pictures.

This dragon somehow got stuck in a roof in a town, some distance from where I killed it.

These guys were arguing, presumably because they're both redguards, but they have a white skinned daughter.

And I *do* love the skies in this game

Hmm I think I may have to put Skyrim on hold for a few weeks again, last night the fatigue kicked in; now that I'm trying to use skills I never ususally use, just for the sake of levelling and continuing to gain perks it's feeling a bit forced. Especially since even on the hardest difficulty I'm rarely having a tough fight.

Ho hum. Back to Arkham City for now :)

I've just kitted out Uthgred in a complete Flawless Dwarven Armor set. She looks 1000x better and harder than I do but I'm working on light Armor and as I found about 40 odd ingots I decided to make it for her for all the backup she's provided.

I got hold of a brilliant book earlier this morning - when I read it I had a choice of three things to enhance and the one I chose (it was 'might' I think) levelled me up two levels plus 2 perks and levelled up my armour, my two and one handed skills, my smithing and possibly another couple of things too. Top quest that one. I'm level 36 now and well on the way to 37

Ooooh that's sounds dead handy. Can I have a hint to how I might start the quest?

It's something something the Transmundane, I did it just yesterday. It branches off from a main quest line thingy. If you've been to Blackreach, you should have it as an option.

I chose the Magic option as I'm approaching or at 100 on all the things I regularly do (sneak, archer, smithing) so I need to start levelling magic more to keep getting perks.
