Pasha is my favourite so far, picking it up quickly although due to various other commitments I haven't been able to play this and won't be able to until tormorrow. I'm itching to get these tables learned and start scoring. If you add me you are guarenteed to be above me in the leaderboards :)

Added :)

I really wish they would increase the friend cap, it's now to the point where everyone on my list has a purpose. I might not play online with all of them but the ones I don't all have a purpose for competing on various game's leaderboards.

If only Microsoft would look at something similar to Steam Groups. Allow everyone to join a 'RLLMUK' group and then give us the option to view group leaderboards within games.

Totally agree. I don't play much on Live these days but I do have friends that only play certain games, it would be nice to group friends or tag them per game. Sorry, very OT but with games like this it just shows how much of an overhaul the friends system needs.

Zen Studios have announced on their forums that the PS3 Zen Pinball tables 'Mars' and 'Paranormal' are making their way to PFX2 soon! Finally we'll have a full table menu rather than the sad looking two empty slots that are currently there (if you own all 13 tables that is...).

What are they like in comparison to the ones we've already got on the 360 version, anyone know?

There's more speculation on the Zen Studios forum regarding a Marvel Comic table!

Personally I'm gutted at the missed opportunity of a Back to the Future anniversary table... :(

I wonder if Microsoft will stump up the licence rights for a Halo table. :)

Paranormal and Mars look a lot more videogamey -- you know, stuff that isn't physically real. I already wish the current Core tables were photorealistic, in the sense that the statues/toys/etc should be believably mechanical, instead of videogame animation. It winds me up that the ramps in Rome have water flowing down them. Stuff like that.

Anyway. Pasha is a clear favourite table. I actually feel like I somewhat know what I'm doing on it. Secrets of the Deep is good, but very low-scoring for me - I can spend 10 minutes earning less than a million points, so I'm obviously not doing anything right.

For Secrets of the Deep there's several features that activate a multiball. Basically you want to try and have the ball at the top part of the table, going for the targets on the shark attack and dive features at either side of the shipwreck targets in the centre. Shark Attack unlocks a multiball with jackpots on the ramps. The "Dive" side seems to have several features, the hole has a minigame to play using the triggers on the LED screen. There's also a "turtles" game where a ramp on the lower part of the table will be worth huge points for a minute or so. Once you hit the 2 light targets a few times the dive chamber opens another hole with another LED screen minigame. Theses minigames are simple with some practise and will net you big points at level 2 or 3. There's no real "orbit" ramps on this table which I found weird at first but each side ramp leads to that top table area and you will do your best at unlocking the multiballs and features by keeping the ball up there. The periscope hole allows you to do a mini skillshot at one of the little orbits around the shark attack feature on the left side (it will be lit) for a good point bonus. You can also time your periscope shots to hit other targets up the top of the table.

There's also the obvious minisub multiball and once you get used to catching the ball in the lower left flipper when it's arriving there at a suitable speed it's fairly easy to judge the shot into the right ramp that locks it. Does take a good load of shots to the ramp to do that though as the sub must travel to the lock 3 times. You can score heavy off the Abyss multiball it gives. You hit the ramps to get deeper and even just spamming the triggers to try and keep the balls in play will see you net many a million. As for the targets up the top, clear a few layers and after a while it will turn from targets that light up "Shipwreck" to smaller, brown targets that refresh as soon as you hit them. They start off just worth 100 points but if you keep at it you can get some heavy score by going deeper into the shipwreck.

The sea monster on the lower left, once the "escape" lock is activated it's all about holding the launch button as the ball is flying past the tube as it goes down the left ramp. I found the timing of this the hardest to get down but you'll soon be regularly snagging a million from that. The ball goes into the minisub bowl and sometimes goes around twice advancing the sub to the ball lock faster.

The Paranormal table looks really good from that vid.

Been playing this for a few hours today and I'm starting to actually get a couple of tables. Up until now it's all been a bit confusing, flashing lights, stuff flashing up on the matrix screen, but I'm finally finding I can trigger events, when I can hit them of course. Secrets Of The Deep is a tough one but I can get a multiball going, although I tend to bottle it before scoring anything significant.

My scores are creeping up, which encourages me to play more. It's definitely a game you don't 'get' the first few goes and it does require you to pay attention to what does what when you hit it - stating the obvious maybe but it's a rarity in games these days.

Both of them are awesome! Great news! :D Mars is a great long-player while Paranormal is every Williams gimmick thrown into a single table! (Well, OK maybe not the fan. Or the talking doll head. Or... Oh, you get the idea...)

Bring it. :D I never had the heart to send you a message about my Rome score you messaged me about cause I totally raped it.

Stefchas Rome score goes soon though! I was so close earlier, only had 2M to go and opened my score-whoring feature (explained earleir in the thread) but fluffed it with a million to go as it counted down to my glorious victory! Once again, gutted!

Well there's Fallout: NV to play as well, it's tricky to know what to go for... as soon as I start playing though, it ends up being 2am, I've been reluctant to send some messages when it's 130am.

I need to go back to the old tables; DC has totally effed me in the A on all those, as they say
