I actually heard that instead of prison, low level criminals were forced to play one of @pompey88’s courses as punishment. Many lost the will to live.

 

Haha good times! I can’t remember the course at all but that game was great. If any of you have Xbox One but I’d be up for it again.

As you were all so awesome supporting my daughter (who is still 12!) earlier this year with her first little publication, I thought I'd let you know that her new book has just gone live on Amazon.

 

A bigger book this time, some 50,000 odd words. Took some freaking time editing it I can tell ya!

Cheers man, can’t see anything on the site but I’ll give them a ring tomorrow. They will give £140 credit for a 1TB vanilla and it’s £340 for a Pro, so £200 difference to pay. Seems they had a deal about this time last year for £175 difference instead, when it was worth more, so I might hold out to near Christmas.

Tempted myself as I'm not gonna get anywhere near £150 for my old PS4 which is loud as fuck

Good shout on those console deals...

 

I just bagged a PS4 Pro + FIFA 18 + Extra Controller for £180, after trading in my old console. It was on the blink a couple of times recently and I had been tempted to upgrade a couple of times before this offer.

How come you got it for £180 did u trade anything else in?

Glad it's not just me. As @Mitchell has subtly alluded to in his posts, the defending is even shitter this time. Players refusing to stick a leg out when they're a foot away from the ball, the tackle button working sometimes and not others (when I charge it or not). Goals a plenty. GKs still very suspect even after patch.

They also seemed to have messed with things which imo were fine. Crossing was great on 17, you could always find the area of the box you wanted with all the existing commands. Now they've changed it and the new system is confusing and doesn't work as well imo.

 

I know @Fennas3 and @Actualbigbloke feel the same too. Just no fun to play. I know it'll prob get easier the more I play, but not sure I can be arsed to do that! Genuinely considering trading it in for a couple of months, seeing what the next patch brings and focusing on Destiny/Rocket League/whatever single player game I'm playing at the mo in the meantime.

See I don't dislike it as much as some people seem too. I can see there are issues i.e. the crossing and tackling (the latter will probably be patched I think). The keepers have never been all that great anyways with fifa so I'm not overly surprised that they are still a bit crap.

 

I don't know about PES, I would have to try it I think. How different is it to fifa i.e. game modes etc? (I think i'm just too familiar with fifa atm)
