Hrmmm. Splinter Cell is not very good :/ The biggest bummer is the performance, which runs sub 20 frames for most of the time. But the controls are also badly designed, and would have benefited much more from stylus aiming ala Metroid and every first person shooter. Even though I love Chaos Theory, this isn't quite a genuine port, with the levels redesigned and turned into very linear (very small) little corridors connected by loading screens. AND they replaced the trademark nightvision with crappy Batman sonar goggles.

It's also the least interesting/noticeable game in terms of 3D too. I kept closing one eye and not really seeing a huge difference.

I actually prefer the PSP version which isn't a good sign.

My Mii's colour is set to purple, which is a great spell colour because it guarantees at least 1 damage to ghosts each turn while your cats and visiting Miis are repeatedly giving up and turning back. Have yet to encounter a purple streetpasser. Thanks to a purple cat, however, I now have a lovely Pikmin hat.

Which is what every review Ive read has stated quite clearly. ONM UK gave it sub 50 score i think.

As an overall package, this can't be beat. Great stuff built in, and some decent, if not earth shattering launch games.

Got SFIV and RR this morning, both lovely to play, RR I had a go of in the shop first as I have the psp one, and while this looks similar, the controls are much smoother with the circle pad.

And SF4. I've always tried and failed at this game, but the noobs 3ds version is very smart. Had a good few goes this morning, and did OK using the 'Lite' controls, I love the oily dude with his Ultra Combo oily stuff, very amusing.

Only picked up 2 streetpasses so far, both in Game shops. I was in Schipol twice this week and thought I might pick up something there, but no luck :(

I've added loads of folks from the spreadhsheet, but have hit 100 now, so need to start pruning if people havn't added me.

Where is the spreadsheet located?

Streetpass is better because it doesn't need games running nor even in the cartridge slot to work. This means it's always there and because of that games will support it. I see massive potential for it, which this time will turn into real worth.

Right then, you UEA fucks. Wandered round there for 20 minutes, down the street, in the bar, round the square, even past some CUNT playing a blue 3DS in the bar, and NO fucking streetpass hits.

Bastards.

Apologies if already answered but I am out and about and quite fancy Rabbids 3D. All the reviews are middling which for the 3DS usually means I'll have a lot of fun like Pilotwings and Lego Star Wars. Anyone played it?

Hi, not sure if it's any help but I posted a couple pages back, last night writing about Rabbids 3D - it is certainly a lot of fun, and I too love Lego Star Wars, but can get repetitive. You may want to skim back a little for more info if interested.

I went into the center of our village and got no hits. Though I expected that as it's got more than its fair share of old people quota and the kids were in school. The most 3DS-looking guy was a sketchy dude sitting alone at the coffee shop with combat boots on.

The girl in GameStation told me that for the first two weeks, all 3DS games trade in for a fiver less than the price they're selling them for new - so most of them trade in at £35  I might just hammer the slightly shitty titles and take them in next week, then use the credit on Zelda and the like.

That's interesting as I've just bought a 3DS from Tesco and got Ridge Racer in their deal. If it's no good then I can trade it in and get a decent price.

Wanted to get Pilot Wings but they didn't have it (and I don't know if it'd have been part of the deal anyway).

Time for Nando's but afterwards its the AR stuff, Pro Evo and Pilotwings... feel sorry for Killzone 3 which arrived today and will probably end up staying in its wrapper for a while!!
