I love how they've used Twitter though as a source... reliable as it is.

I think I'll go on and tweet some random stuff about products I don't like/want to succeed in the hope that a paper makes a story out of it.

Nintendo apparently have said they haven't had a single complaint to customer services about it.

Oh Scott, a textbook case of confirmation bias. Also, add me! :)

I've had some serious eye ache today, a constant throbbing in the top corner of my right eye. Every time I blink: pain. I've been blaming the 3DS all day, bitching about it to anyone bored enough to listen. It's one big migraine machine! It's the new Virtual Boy! etc. Then just before I left work I had a look in the mirror and realised

I'm getting a fucking stye. Oops. Sorry Nintendo.

Hey, so it does! I doubt I'd have found that out otherwise, though I did initially think it was a bit short and stubby looking.

Did nobody look at the bloody great picture on the box their 3DS came in or something?

I wonder what the spread of the 3DS amongst the general population is atm. Its only been out 5 minutes, so outside of dense population centres like towns or busy transport centres like railway stations, airports, etc I would think the spread would be very thin.

That brings up another point btw. If you take your 3DS on holiday, will be able to Streetpass with systems from other regions?

I was at Disneyland Paris over the weekend and I picked up streetpass miss from France and Holland.

Just had a thought..... Space Harrier. Please Sega make it so

Yes please, a Sega Ages re-release with Space Harrier, Out Run and After Burner would be amazing in 3d. If they feel like getting carried away then Galaxy Force II, Enduro Racer, Super Hang On etc. would all be welcome.

What's Sumo Digital up to on 3DS?

Wow, the batterylife is pretty diabolical, isn't it? I fully charged it yesterday night, played some in bed then showed it off a couple of times today and played for a couple of hours tonight and it's empty

I leave it in its cradle overnight and get enough play out of it during the day without having to charge again.

Yeah, the system really endeared itself to me today (Street Pass etc) but then the battery started to frantically flash red. As one who commutes for a couple of hours per day, this is a problem. It's great fun, but it's more home console than handheld. As a mobile entertainment device in the post iPod / iPad world it's unacceptable and a bit lazy on Nintendo's part, which is a shame as it's had a lot of care lavished on it in most areas.

My 3DS and Ridge Racer came this morning.

I’m having no issues at all with double vision on the 3D and I have the slider set at full 3D.

I for one am really impressed with the 3D.

On Ridge Racer looking at the top screen is like looking through a window.

I can’t wait for Pilot Wings and Ghost Recon to be delivered.

No troubles here. Do you switch off the Wi-Fi when not using it? And what level of brightness are you using?

I usually have my 3DS on sleep mode (with Wi-Fi, for StreetPass) for about two hours a day, and play another two across the day. Takes about half a battery worth of energy.
