Mike S
If anyone is flying out of the UK anytime soon, these are £183 at dixons, £30 a pop for games and if you buy two games you get a choice of a free case or accessory kit. I'm very tempted..
Hello Goaty ♥
The Street Pass thing is great fun . Set mine up and strolled around our office today, picking up two folks. Got them to help out with both the puzzle and the adventure quest and then sent them an email letting them know they'd appeared - got one back moments later saying 'dude, your Mii has an AWESOME beard!' so I guess I popped up on their machines too. Really impressed by the whole thing. Might go for a wander through the centre of Oxford at lunch and Banbury tonight on the off chance I manage to capture other people. Its a shame, apart from you knowing who sent your Mii's .. that ones you Streetpass cannot be added as friends. ( unless ive missed something ) Also finding it impossible to recruit a Streetpassed Mii for the Dungeon mission. how?
Gamst
Does everyone else's 3DS 'rattle'? I'm assuming it's the pedometer? Loving it so far, the 3D effect gets much better over time, so the people that weren't instantly impressed should stick with it ;-)

Sarlaccfood
Slightly (very) worried by there only being three enemies on screen at once though. Looked like some lonely mercs!
Mike S
I cracked in Dixons so a 3DS, RR, Pilotwings and Tom Clancy are go. The blue 3DS looks pretty nasty to these eyes so a finger print magnet black it was and, happily, I 'get' the 3d without any bother. It's very impressive indeed. Looking forward to testing streetpass in NY later.

Harmunt
When I bought a DSi, I had to transfer some data from my old DSLite. I did this via Animal Crossing so (as I understood it) my online data would transfer to the new DSi so I could continue playing online. Do I have to do the same now? i.e. transfer data from the DSi to the 3DS? I'm confused...
Harmunt
I live in Plymouth and the Nintendo 3DS roadshow has hit the city today. It's here until Sunday. I'm hoping to get down there on Saturday with Streetpass activated...

I did it the same way: DSi load up a DS game with wifi, go wifi options and select transfer settings 3DS - download play set to DS mode and select to download data. ( unless ive missed something ) Also finding it impossible to recruit a Streetpassed Mii for the Dungeon mission. how? I had this initially - did you go to start the Dungeon game after you had 'met' your plaza Miis? In my case my first plaza Mii was met before I started so I couldn't use him - after I had done a little bit in it with hired heros (the weird cat things) I met my second Mii and I could use him. Hello Goaty ♥
LOL, quite! But what could be causing it? I have to power the 3DS off a couple of times before the bottom screen starts working properly.
Xevious
Ah right, so is that stuff stored on the SD card and not the machine? I've had a flick through the manual and its not clear. When I bought a DSi, I had to transfer some data from my old DSLite. I did this via Animal Crossing so (as I understood it) my online data would transfer to the new DSi so I could continue playing online. Do I have to do the same now? i.e. transfer data from the DSi to the 3DS? Yes, do the same again. Friend codes before were tied to both game and machine, so when you got a new one you had to transfer the lock across. You have to do this again to move your DS 'lock' to the 3DS. Note that after this your old DS won't work with the same games online. Going forwards, you'll be able to transfer your lock to new machines and all purchases with it. Girth Certificate
anyone noticed very faint vertical lines on the top screen where the raised surrounding of the bottom screen has been touching it when closed? They rub away but it's a bit worrying.
supert3d
Score! I'm just a loner. Hiring cat, shaking 3DS, hiring cat, shaking 3DS, hiring cat. Make sure you check what each cat's magic can do. I made one cat do magic (brown maybe) and it summoned a big white rabbit (lvl 2 wanderer). I found a Pikmin hat earlier, my mii looks like a loon now. trickytree
The 'looking through' rather than 'at' the screen is a good tip too if the 3D ever seems too much. Or, in Pilotwings, focussing overtly on the horizon rather than trying to take in the whole image at once. True, it's because most people are used to looking at everything on a 2d screen at once, whereas in 3d (as in real life) you can't focus on everything, you need to pick one thing and then shift focus between objects. Once that clicks, the 3d all falls into place. People who recommend reducing the 3d slider perhaps aren't doing this, and therefore aren't getting the full effect. TheSlugFormerlyKnownAsNap
I can't turn my Mii into a QR code or save an image of him. It looks like it's working but then it says 'Unable to save' without any other options. Any ideas? /EDIT/ Works now, no idea why...
