Any detailed thoughts on Splinter Cell? I'm not expecting AMAZE based off early mumblings, but would be nice to know just whether it's at least better than the PSP or - ugh - DS versions. Not to mention whether the 3D adds anything.

My copy should arrive tomorrow, so I'll post some impressions then.

so i pre-order with tesco's to pick up in store tomorrow. but have yet to receive that game for £10 email that all pre-orders were suppose to be getting.

how did that work for everybody else?

Anyone get their £10 voucher from Tesco yet? How did it arrive?

As with most of these vouchers you wont get it until sometime after you've had the product to stop people cancelling or sending them back but keeping the voucher.

Are there any more impressions of Rayman? I just heard that Gamestation have an offer where you can get Rayman, Madden or Asphalt for £25 with the machine, and I have no interest in the other two.

 Oh FFS Gamestation, why you no have decent offers? I only pre-ordered with you because the manager was all excited and friendly and treated me like a long-lost friend rather than a shoestain.

This is awesome.

My first go wasn't great, soon after my first 3D experience I has a bit of a headache and nausea. After a walk outside (suns out!), came back and tried again and the 3D effect doesn't bother me anymore. Had a quick go at Pilotwings, but really enjoying Ridge Racer. Looks lovely, depth just works really well... mostly forget about some of the shoddy geometry.

Did a system update, and am I right in thinking the main thing it does is add a 3D movie to your system? Looks nice, but can't imagine watching a feature length film on it though due to small screens.

On, set up my wifi stuff so feel free to add me, my 3DS Friend Code is: 1633-4166-4014.

Condolences to all you peeps who haven't received it yet, it is worth the wait. 'Tis a nice toy :)

Well thanks a f***ing bundle Amazon. So glad I pre-ordered in January. Yep, definitely well worth doing that.

I want launch day fun.... Sob... sob...

Still at least the pilot wings positivity makes me happy. I now need to find some reviews of Ghost Recon to try and satiate my disappointment at evidently not being able to play it tomorrow.

Ditto. I'll have Pilotwings and SSFIV tomorrow but no bastard console to play them on.

How you can you have ssfiv in your hands?

a few button changes made and although we are never going to be as slick as playing on a tourney stick, it really is alot of fun and a pleasure to have portable all intact, and in 3d like. But all the the frame counter kind of high level players may cringe.

just won my first online match against a scrub akuma

:bye:

How does this friend pass thing work then? Do we both have to do it at the same time like on the wii? Mine is 1805-2150-7013 if anyone wants some street fighter beats.

I think it's just one person needs to add the other, and you're both registered.
