How does one transfer a mii from the wii to the 3ds then?

And charge it, it came with cahrge and its not 1999 anymore - play play play!

Ordered Ridge racer and will trawl the shops tomms for some overpriced panic buys but all in all i have to say its a nifty bit of kit!

How does one transfer a mii from the wii to the 3ds then?

Yes, it is possible to send Mii characters created on your Wii to your Nintendo 3DS. Note that it is not possible to send Mii characters you created on your Nintendo 3DS to your Wii.

If you want to use a Mii character you created on your Wii, please follow these steps:

Open the Mii Channel on your Wii console.

Open the Mii Maker from the HOME Menu of your Nintendo 3DS.

Select Send/Receive.

Select Mii Channel (Wii).

In the Mii Channel on your Wii, select 'Connect to DS'. If that option is not shown, press the A, B and 1 Buttons on the Wii Remote in that order, then press and hold the 2 Button.

On your Nintendo 3DS, select the Wii console you want to connect to.

Confirm the connection on both systems.

Grab a Mii character in the Mii Channel on your Wii console by holding the A and B Buttons, drag it to the empty slot at the top and release both buttons.

The Mii character will now appear on your Nintendo 3DS.

Cheers for that, all done and was easy with no problems.

Only thing is that i had to make a mii before i could transfer and now im stuck with an extra me, any ideas as can not seem to delete the one created on the 3ds??

Erm I had a last second change of heart... So my 3DS is here, it's a nice bit of kit, well designed seems solid & doesn't feel plasticy

Loved messing about with the AR stuff, not sure if my eyes get on that well with the 3D effect but time will tell.

Now all I need is some games :/

Is the online store part broken/offline at the moment? as I can get anything from the 3DS or DS stores?

Andbody tried the QR code thing for their Mii yet? OR scanned in the Shiggsy one from earlier. Here's mine, does this work to add friends as well?

Can't believe this, my girlfriend said she was just popping out to the shops to pick up some food for tonight, half an hour later she comes back with a package of fries..... and a 3DS!

Total, and complete surprise. I'd only mentioned the device in passing a few months ago, and the girl went to my local indie and pre-ordered one behind my back. So yes, I'm all sorts of stunned and in complete and mode at this point. Time to put a ring on her finger me thinks.
