WinterWonder - CampfireBurning's missus

Yup, WinterWonder's with me. She's a bit shy of you guys and generally sticks with me out by our house and caves, but last night she learned to use the teleport command and was thrilled to see all the projects you were working on.

Disciple - she felt bad about disconnecting on you when you said hi to her last night. As I said, we RLLMUK folks can be a scary lot to the uninitiated :)

So in our time in our little rllmuk world we have...

Placed 14,097 torches, built 6,213 steps, made 1,789 chests, installed 34,047 blocks of glass, placed 461 signs, and created 372 blocks of sponge...

I'm fairly sure I account for a big chunk of these!

Fellow minecrafting bretheren, I need to make a request. I worked super hard today to try and get something finished, but have run out of time.. And I'm not sure when I'll next be able to play..

So can someone try finish my arts?

I took this:

And made it into this:

As you can see, about a quarter of it left to do :( there are some materials nearby if anyone fancies having a go at completing it! :)

I meant to say - sorry to whoever owns the mine next to the big 'r' sign (and now my new tree-in-a-glass-case thing). I surrounded the entrance with stone because I was messing with water and didn't want to risk flooding the mine. Didn't prevent access or anything, though.

No problem. I've been using it as a quarry from time to time. :) Looks nicer now, anyway.

The game doesnt have enough different coloured bricks :(

Just tried doing Ash from Pokemon, with his red cap. But the nearest colour is red bricks, and the white lines fuck it all up.

Yeah, hopefully the Halloween update will add coloured cloth blocks into SMP, will allow for much better pixel art!

Cheers the help on the save games, having gone back to check I blame the stupid so tiny I missed it "search non-indexed files as well" tick box *sigh*

Much more fun when not worrying about losing my whole world! Nevermind my "new" world is far more interesting anyways a huge mountain with a sheer side right at my spawn with water and lava! So I have been busy constructing a castle right atop the peak that scrapes the sky, next stop the depths of the world! Then once I have a decent variety of materials I might try and decorate the massive clean sheer side of my mountain fortress with a big picture!

I have a plan I am drawing up for a rather larger project but its getting a bit out of hand, trying to work out the exact scaling and how much space I'd need and I think it would end up being around 5000 x 5000 Blocks ish... Which is frankly mind bogglingly crazy. So I may abandon the whole project and just build one part of it.

With the bit around the r, (and in general around central Mukville), be careful with your quarrying/ mining, particularly if you're fool enough to use TNT, as there's a few train tunnels around there. Outside of the centre they'll tend to be more overground so it won't be a problem.

Plant TNT in the train tunnels? Got it.

If you're on the rllmuk server, you just take your time building the outline, then slowly but surely make progress on it, people drop by and help out, and it's done before you know it!

Built the 5th Ave NYC Apple Store tonight - 4hrs work with some fantastic help from a few of you (thanks dan, speedy, vaya and others!!). Quite proud of it now it's almost finished.

It's on the Stadium path, about 70% of the way from town. If anyone passes and wants to help out, i'm trying to dig out one block of the wall and floor, replacing with snowblocks to make it white down there.

Obviously help yourself to iPads. :hat:

Nice one!

Has anyone fixed the sign yet? :)

Kind of - i removed it. I was totally confused with signs at that point so couldn't correct it

It reminded me of when those little sods popped up and spun the arrows around in the Labyrinth. I might make the bog of eternal stench tomorrow.

Just wanted to say hello, I'm speedyyellow in minecraft. Had a top evening making my hollowed out mountain house, and helping out with some rather funky spiral stairs.

Your staircase went really well, i was impressed - the one i made that you replaced was a bloody mess. 1hr well spent!
