it is quite viewable in person though, so i am not sure it needs it. although if you really think it needs the contrast. steel blocks will give enough contrast while still retaining the whiteness.

It's the comparison shots that really made it apparent - straight on, you can see the dark one has a body and wings; the white one looks 2D.

I've finished the road layout from the church towards the stadium, up to just before the monorail bit. I've started to build a path off this towards the galleon (which looks amazing by the way) that takes in nice scenery (tetris, the plane, the pyramid, Mario art etc) but that might take a couple of days. After that I'll continue towards the stadium.

Speaking of which - there's a big floating square that surrounds the plane - can I demolish that to make it look a little more natural?

I'd like to arrange the roads on the other side of the cathedral as well, but I've not really explored there, and don't want to stand on anyones toes. For some insane reason I really enjoy working on routes as I'm awful at building things and find making straight routes strangely relaxing.

I've tried building a tribute to the Chilean miners (The foot from Manic Miner coming down from the sky which crushes miner willy on the podium) but I keep fucking it up.

I'm sticking to roads if everyone's alright with that.

COOL!, if ya coming near my boat give me a shout (Screwyouhippy) and I'll come give ya hand when ya get near..

As for the manic miner podium thing. That's a top class idea, I'll defo give you a hand with that once I've finished this,

nice. the island looks great.

the pixel therev icon needs to be built in that brown border off the coast of the angel, so it's visable from the cliff / statue top.

also - revlob, when are you going to compelte revlob-Alcatraz? :P

Ooh, Alcatraz, I like that idea. I'm not sure what I'm doing with my island at the moment, I was thinking of turning it into a fortress of sorts, then I thought about putting a water slide to hell in the caverns* underneath it.

* hand-mined staircase soon to be widened with explosives.
