Your mum's a compulsive toy for masturbators.

Heavy Rain looks like a less annoying Fahrenheit in terms of mechanics, but with some extra clumsy sexuality to cancel that out. It sounds like the dialogue's a little weak too... but it's a game so we'll judge it on how fun it is, not if it's art or whatever.

I didnt realise Resonance of Fate was PS3 and 360, looks interesting. Did they mention anything conclusive in the preview?

They describe the combat system and world map, and they're quite positive about it all. It's hard to visualise it from the text, but it seems that you have a 'hero' meter that lets you queue up and then execute a chain of moves. Also, there's a way of executing a special tactical move (depending on how you use your hero meter) that coordinates the attacks of the 3 party members. As I said, it's hard to visualise from their description of it.

The world map is made up of hexagons, so you unlock hex's as the game progresses. There's a screenshot of it, and it's definitely interesting; although it could be good, or it could be totally naff. It's hard to tell at this stage.

Guitar Hero Van Halen would get a 10 if the reviewer loved Van Halen.

Not really. He seems to like the band and know his stuff, and is critical of the fact the game only features more recent songs and ignores large chunks of the band's history. He also criticises it for including tracks (by other artists) that seem out of place (Pretty Fly for a White Guy, Stacey's Mom' etc), in contrast to the Metallica version which had decent artists to complement the featured band. He also said it leaves out decent key features of GH5.
