Fine Green Beans

How do you cook them to guarantee they won't be squeaky?

Unless this is some sort of trick question ;) i'd suggest a longer cooking time, or adding some butter once cooked. By my reckoning, the 'squeakiness' is just down to the friction on the bean surface. A longer cooking time ensures the beans become softer which seems to remove the noise - adding butter is an alternative if you still want something of a crunch/bite to the bean.
