So, what's the point of the vehicle modes? They're slow as hell.

The heavy artillery? Actually the first round I played as a Decepticon and my vehicle seemed to handle a lot better than when I was an Autobot.

Come on, put the demo up on PS3 please! Cry. Withdrawal symptoms here.

My first thought is that it's the same price as the Marketplace so it could be mix up in the database or summink.

Had some more games, pissed all over, well, everyone. Came top in deathmatch. It's fun, but I'm not entirely sure on the longevity of multiplayer. I'm not sure enough people will buy it to keep it going. Besides which I only have limited time for multiplayer anyway, so it'll be a price drop buy for me.

The more I play multiplayer, the more empty it seems. It's more than competent but it doesn't feel like Transformers like the PS2 game did, it feels more like every single deathmatch game I've played in the last couple of years. I'm sure that's fun for the MoWa generation, but for me this is going to thrive on the story/single player.

Well, I personally can't recall many multiplayer shooters that give you all these options. It's very fast and versatile stuff and I can see this being played long after we all completed the single player.

Well, until Black Ops comes out that is.

You guys are making early calls based on a 3 level cap, 2 class, limited map mutliplayer demo, which will have many levels and level perks etc?

daft!

I mean the whole structure doesn't appeal to me. MoWa and consorts are utterly boring to me; the whole vs. aspect without any context is crap. I thought the strength of the IP might pull me through, but I'm starting to realize I need single player settings and multiplayer is but an afterthought for me.

Context? Surely most multiplayer games lack context? You don't like Street Fighter either?

Now that you mention it, I don't play that online half as much as I do off. If I do play it multiplayer it's usually with some mates on the couch.

But for something like Transformers, context is king. I'd rather have an extended view on Scrounge's life in-game then a full blown multiplayer mode. ;)

Well, I can imagine that being the case when you're a TF nut such as yourself.

Cant say this thrilled me demo wise, just a standard 3rd person UE action game. The melee attack seems overpowered and random, weapon damage a bit random too. The vehicle modes arent much cop, and accell on L trigger is dumb. Gone from definite to wait til it comes down to 20 quid I think.

Amen to this.

I've cancelled my pre-order, as I was hoping it was going to be focused on the story.

That might still be the case, but id rather read some reviews first and im in spain all next week- so would rather not spend £40 on something with a heavy focus on multiplayer, that I may not like.
