The Walking Dead!

I really don't like when The Walking Dead dedicates episodes to specific characters rather than having the story arcs merged in with the others as the show goes on. That was the worse part of the second half of season 4 when everyone was separated and we got some terrible episodes. They're is a group heading to DC, are we about to get an episode of the most boring road trip? I feel some of Beth's stuff could have been introduced last season if they cut a lot of the shite out and people will be less pissed off because they don't have to put up with full episodes of a character that the majority couldn't care less about.

That's weird I feel the total opposite! I got bored with the first half of season 4 and stopped watching for a bit after the attack on the prison episode. When I started watching again, the very next episode everybody was split up and I enjoyed it much more.

How so?

Thought it was a very good episode this week.

Episode 5.

This season is moving at lightening pace compared to previous seasons.

Thought we would still be at terminus at this point but the road trip to DC took over and now thats gone tits up!

Where to now? Sit out the rest of the season in church? After rescueing Beth.

How so?

Some shots of walkers on the road, with a long straight clear road beyond. Then some abandoned cars teleport in out of nowhere and the bus hits one. Then another which wasn't with the rest teleports in and the bus goes over it.

I loved it. Had me properly laughing out loud when 'The Hat' was first caught watching and then had his big reveal. More comedy than survival but that's modtly why I watch it, light hearted fun.

Imalso enjoyed slabtown last week. It would be shit if like other seasons we'd spent 10 episodes there but at the current rate it'll be finished next week.

Then we'll need a new plot I guess as they'll have finished all the others.

Everyone in this show has very fragile heads, don't they? I guess I can excuse a bit of artistic licence in the case of routine zombie bashing- it would be a bit tedious if it took more than a couple of wallops with a sturdy instrument to take down your typical rotter, after all - but when stabbing a fresh corpse so they don't reanimate, it seems to take all the effort of poking a knife into a packet of soft butter. And as for Eugene's water cannon shenanigans... zombies coming apart like jelly? How could they even stand up?!?

Doesn't it depend on how old the zombie is? As in, they continue to decompose so old ones will fall apart easier than new ones. And these ones have probably been trapped in there for a long time. And those ones a few episodes ago who had been trapped in water for ages were also different because of the water.
