You talking about Roc Marciano? Do yourself a favour and check out the Marcberg album TODAY. I still reckon its the best rap album of the last 3 years or so.

I'm sure I'll probably be the millionth person to say it but he really reminds me of Raekwon vocally. Will be paying full attention to him in future, that's for sure.

I've got 4 tickets for El-P at London Scala (near Kings Cross) for this Wednesday 12th Sep, 2012

Doors/start time: 7:30pm

I can't find anyone to go with me. I obviously have all the wrong friends, but there you go.

They were £14 each - is anyone interested in any of them? Happy to take £10 a ticket if that sounds fair?

That's because he's new to your ears - in a similar way to how everyone who first hears Action Bronson hears Ghostface.

Also in Roc Marcianio's case, Marcberg came out in the shadow of the most hyped release of the year - Reakwon's Cuban Linx II - and there was a lot of talk about how this small, self-produced effort from an ex-flipmode squad member was the real rap LP of the year..

Yeah, I'm sure. It didn't really occur to me with the bits and bobs I'd heard, just the full album and not even all the time but enough to be noticable. His teeth probably aren't fucked enough for his voice to be a total ringer anyway.

Hey guys, I have a favour to ask, we're shooting a documentary about young MC's who are trying to raise their profile by battle rapping. Can I ask you guys to go over to the page on indiegogo and 'like' it. Maybe tweet about it and stuff.
