I'll keep things quiet until then for my final 2 fixtures (being played tonight) being confirmed and reported.

Al - I'm unlikely to be around on Sunday afternoon, so how about if I enter the scores after our games tonight and then if you can confirm them at the appropriate time they should appear with everybody else's :( That ok?

Have a quick peak at the league table and all will be revealed...

Nice games, although I cannot believe I didn't score in the first match, your keeper had a blinder.

Second game very evenly matched and a point each was fair - although either of us could have easily nicked all the points.

I'm having a shocking run in, not looking forward to the playoffs :(

Just noticed Billy and ASMs results. That means Billy is out of the playoff places and unless I beat him twice with a +9 goal difference he should be safe from relegation. ASM has secured a playoff spot too and could even steal second place with a good result against Heretic.

I might still come 2nd, Heretic could lose all 4 games, and I might beat him by 15 clear goals. It could happen. :P

Played Billy last night last night, and was very lucky to come away with all 6 points. The first should really have been at least a draw, the Fulham strikers just didn't want to score, everything seemed to hit my posts. The only goal in the game was a scrappy rebounded shot that luckily fell at Pazzini's feet.

The 2nd match started out very tight, no goals in the first half. In the 2nd half Fulham seemed to be pushing further up the pitch, which left a lot more space for the Sampdoria strikers to work there magic, and in the end they came away with 2 each.

Cheers for the games Billy, they were very enjoyable as always, but I can imagine that was a frustrating couple of games for you. Good luck in your final matches.

I'd say you can post the scores against yiggy as that's not your final round.

Me and Billy have a date for tomorrow night.

I know how my games have gone so I know what I need to do (if anything) and what to hope for (if anything) to win the title (if that's still a possibility), and you're playing not knowing how many points you can drop (if any) before I steal the title from you (if indeed I can still win it). And all the while, the same thing is happening up and down the table.

Brilliant.

Edit - It is because of this that I'm hesitant about posting my games with Yiggy. Takes away a bit of suspense, as we're both used to the table as it stands at the minute.

Me and billy are on tonight. Heretic and yiggy are playing tonight/have played. ASM and Heretic have played. Al and slotter have played. Which leaves:

Yiggy and Scratch, razzle and bambino.

Have you guys played these games?

If so then we can reveal tomorrow.

Well, it's a little different for me as 6 points secures the title regardless but maybe it is best to keep the yiggy scores under wrap too.

I have calmed down since the games earlier when I let in another 7 goals and failed to score. This has been the most frustrating season in the history of the league for me. Every season I played in PES and since the start of FIFA I have either stayed the same or gotten slightly better. This season though it has been a total disaster.

I apologize to those of you I have not used comms with in the 2nd half of the season. I have a real anger issue when I am playing at the moment. I dont know why I have gotten so bad. My formation is not working. My skills have got to shit. My opponents all seem very solid. But after an okay start something like my last 8 games I have let in a ridiculous number of goals. I have not just been getting beaten, I have been getting slaughtered. Frankly its embarrassing. You get to a point when nothing is working for you that you just give up. Sometimes that can have a positive effect as it eases the pressure but its not been doing it for me. I am conscious as well that I have not modified my strategy enough and that is being punished by my opponents. I dont think its been a total disaster. I think I have still shut people out for periods and put in some good play but if there was any consistency I wouldn't be in this position. Frankly I am seething at my ineptitude.

So I will soldier on in my last fixtures and try to pull myself out of the hole. Amazingly its still possible but with a GD of -30 I really dont deserve it.

Apologies for the lack of match reports and frivolity from me but I am what you might call a FIFA depressive at the moment. You lot have been great to play with as usual.

Mate, I know exactly how you feel. I have upset my wife many times this season due to a 'FIFA mood'. I find that using comms actually keeps me calm as I have to keep my anger in check, but often after switching off and a moment of reflection a controller would fly across the room. For me there were several key things to getting my season back on track, albeit possibly too late, and that was going back to auto passing/shooting, learning each individual players strengths, and finding a formation I was happy with. Whether I stay up or not I feel confident that next season I can do some serious damage.

Duuuuuuuudddddeeee! You were on manual passing and shooting? bloody hell man, no wonder.

I've got this great system now where in friendlies I play with manual shooting and switch it to auto for matches.

It works really well and I hardly ever have the auto post hitting problems that I used to.

FIFA can be incredibly frustrating but I agree about comms. Generally I get far less angry on comms.

Yiggy, I'm guessing your results from your post and also I had a sneak peak last night and saw you were losing both. It makes things quite interesting as Heretic has got his goal difference up near mine which means I need to equal or beat his performance against ASM to guarantee the title in my last match against billy.
