How do some people manage to escape any consequences of their actions? Sounds like they had a slam dunk perjury case against him, but what - no-one could be arsed? Whereas you know if you or I did so much as wander out of Tesco forgetting to pay for our sandwich we'd somehow end up in pokey, pursued to the end by weirdly over-zealous law enforcement.

I think the same applies to those involved in the Spectrum Vega+ debacle.

I never heard of any repercussions for those that essentially stole all the backers' money.

It always seems like the bigger the crime and the more obvious and in-plain-sight you do it, the smaller the punishment.  See Liz Truss who got 2 quotes for PPE from 2 companies. One quote was from company A, who quoted 20 million.  Company B quoted 170 milion and was run by a Tory donor and personal friend of Truss. Company B got the job, immediately subcontracted the work to company A and the difference of 150 million of taxpayers money went into someone's bank account. It was widely reported at the time and nothing seemed to happen after it all came out.  The PPE didn't work either. People in high positions seem to get away with the worst shit.

Well we never got that game that was in progress those 10 years ago which was how he was hanging on to the trade mark. Some sort of racer wasn't it? 

 

I did a little chuckle just seeing this get bumped, I'm tempted to read through it all again. That bit with him creating a word file with a fake date on it and everything was a joy.
