Ah, that's good to know, thanks. It's quite annoying as I had been actively working on improving my accuracy and had taken it from a dreadful 13% to 18%. I have 446K hits now and an accuracy of 0.63 though, so it's not looking like fixing itself. No biggie, I'd be much more pissed off if my precious kdr was messed with - lotta work went into that.

I know I've said this many a time, but people shouldn't work on their accuracy statistic. You're not getting charged per round fired. I'll happily put rounds through thin surfaces if I think there's a remote chance someone is behind it. Or if I think some people are going to try rushing from a certain direction, I'll fire like crazy in that direction to discourage them.

I don't understand why there are so many quick scoping snipers. Is it amazing fun? Looks a bit shit to me. Was playing FFA today and I was the only one using a regular gun. It's great fun killing one of those fuckers with a head shot from far away with an AR. :-) I can apriciate good snipers, but most of these kids are awful at it.

Quick-scoping is fun if you're good enough to do well with it. Facing down a group of people wielding assault rifles or shotguns with a bolt-action rifle is quite a rush. Going 2-20 because you're pretty bad at it, not so much. Small Beans and ilVlatty are two of the best guys with a sniper rifle on Youtube but even they know not to use them at all times. See:

I accidentally picked Attack Helicopter as my first killstreak reward while going for a nuke the other night. There isn't a :facepalm: big enough. Getting the 1000 kills challenge done for that is surely the hardest thing to complete in the game.

Been playing this again for the last 2 days. Been top of the scoreboard every round solidly. When did the play level drop so much? i'm sure last time I played I was getting crucified?

Playing objective barebones mostly. Takes a lot of the pain out of the game, still find it too fast and unfocused compared to Cod4, but it makes it much better

If you want a competent partner for any game mode feel free to hit me up. My 'tag is SwallowFM. The game is like CoD4 now in a lot of playlists - absolutely full of people who don't seem to know how to operate their controller. There are still plenty of genuinely good players as well as a bunch of the scrubbiest tryhards going. There are seemingly very few average players now, I guess with the more casual guys not sticking with a two year old game.

I'll add you up, but I didnt really take to it. i was getting 3-1 kill ratios most games, but at no point did it really feel like any sort of cohesive teamwork was going on, which I really dig from my fps's. Still though, lets get a few games going. Might play now in fact. Gamertag - Kerraig

If it says the NAT is Open, does that basically mean MW2 (on the PC) is completely happy that you can connect to games? I've just reinstalled this and it won't get past the looking for players screen, on any game mode.

Anyone up for some Spec-Ops sometime? I've finished about half of them, and the lack of completion is bugging me, especially as most of my mates can't be enticed out of Black Ops multiplayer even as far as Zombie mode, let alone changing discs for Spec Ops...

Cheers for the games yesterday, Rogue and Skeez, they were good fun. It just gets a bit annoying having to win every round with only us as competent players on our team. If I get one more bad random team-mate I'm... I'm gonna come on here and complain about it. I do not understand how people can play a whole Dom game and end up with just a few hundred points. They must literally be standing in the same place the whole time, not even trying for kills, never mind caps and defends. It baffles and annoys me, but it gives me hope at least that that sort of player won't be getting much in the way of rewards in MW3 - ending the round with 400 points while I'm on 3000+ means even if they're going for Support rewards they'll get virtually nothing.

Also, I went 19-3 in a 4-1 Search victory (with randoms) on Rundown a day or two ago. 8) I got my patented quad semtex for first blood on Karachi Dom last night as well. Feels good man.

I started playing as a sniper in the last few weeks and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve never played as a sniper and I don’t try any of that quick-scope carry on. I’ve been doing the sniper challenges; I got Perfectionist last night on Afghan after trying for ages.

My favourite spot for camping shenanigans is on the top of the crane on Highrise – get up there with Cold Blooded and a silenced rifle and you can have some good times. Also the roof on Sub Base just across from where all the action happens is a good place – get a claymore down and you’re pretty safe.

Roughly the same across them all, I'd say, TDM maybe has slightly more "bank" tubes - ie. blinged ARs with a sight and tube. I run across a determined (OMA, DC) tuber once every few rounds but even they don't bother me too much. I flank a lot so they don't catch me so often. I really don't think they''re too much of an issue at the moment and it's definitely not worth getting annoyed by them as it won't affect the users.

FFA is probably your best bet for not getting tubed as people don't really know where to expect you so can't just spam them.
