Moaning about teams is him just being a bad loser sure, but don't you think he has a point about the killstreaks? To me it almost feels like cheating the way you can chain Predator > Harrier > Chopper Gunner and getting there with as few as 5 kills, or four with hardline. More and more people are using that setup (or Pavelow rather than CG) and more and more games are turning into an airspace battle.

I think they should stop the killstreak rewards counting towards your killstreak, and also limit the amount of air support to one per team at any one time.

And get rid of Marathon while they're at it, having idiots running around constantly knifing people just makes a mockery of the game in my opinion.

Can someone explain the LMGs to me? As in, I can't work out why you'd choose one of them over an SMG or an AR. I think I've got maybe 50 kills combined with them in this and the first game, I just can't see the appeal of them. How should one play with an LMG?

The AUG with grip is amazing. They give you a huge clip, good spray up close and better range than ARs. When I use the AUG I use grip and silencer or FMJ and play the same as I would with an AR, however I feel as though I can cope better indoors like the middle in Skidrow and bunker in Wasteland because you can just spray 150 bullets down a corridor and kill every fucker.

Gay, why didn't he just join a merc match?

He seems to play mostly objective games, there's only Mercenary Team Death Match, which is what he was whining about.

Killstreaks *can* be unbalanced - well the ones operated by a player can be. I have a Cold-Blooded Anti-Air class that I switch to when necessary, and it's soooo easy to down the AI manned killstreaks it's untrue. Free XP for me, and less than 10 seconds in the air many a time. I've even taken to dying deliberately when my team don't bother shooting them down, just so I can get rid of them myself. The CG and AC130 are harder because the player can see you, so sometimes you get shot whilst getting the lock-on, but still, I don't really have a problem dealing with air support. Stinger Veteran required 500 helis shooting down which I thought was a bit mad!

I did recently change my streaks to Predator > Harrier > Pave Low, and it does work *very* effectively, but only if the other team are too daft to:

A: Stay Inside.

B: Shoot them down.

In those situations, it does feel a bit cheap, but then it's not difficult to work out that running around in the open when a chopper is shooting at you is not the best plan.

Respect - lost.

Yeah, not sure why he doesn't use his profile to propose changes to IW instead of crying about it in a video. His haters are going to have a field-day with that.

Fair enough I only listened for a min or so.

It's to slow on the draw for my liking.

Get yourself an RPD with grip and holographic scope on Terminal and you'll soon find out. :(

Sleight of hand pro takes care of that.

Just had an amazing game on Derailed. Early on I got a stick on some guy I saw on HBS through the trees just out the front of the big office with the open front and all the windows that everyone camps, in the middle of the map. Couldn't see him at all :(

Then later on stormed into the aforementioned big office with my AA-12 and got 5 kills in about 4 seconds, 3 guys were just running through the back bit at the top towards the front all pretty much in a straight line, bam, triple kill

So many people need the UAV to fucking babysit them it's amazing. You get so many deaths without a silencer because they just chase your dot. I've just been playing around my mates house and he's only level 7 or so. Most of my deaths came from HBS or a group of people using the UAV to find me. I found you had to change the way you play a little, with a silencer I'd go off alone and try to ambush them, without one I tried to stay with a group of teammates so they'd occupy the opponents. It was a laugh though seeing a level 7 keep topping a lobby with scores like 21-2, 36-1 against a bunch of 2nd prestigers.

Ooh, don't do that, I'd be doomed. I'm the guy below's worst nightmare when I'm in 'when all else fails, stab like a muthafucka' mode.

"Zip, zip, zip, zip, zip, zip, KNIFE." I don't know what I'd do for ten minutes in and out of the rooms along that corridor on Skidrow if I had that method taken away from me.

That's the beauty of Claymores + Heartbeat Sensor. Plant near you, let off a few shots in the air, +1 kill.

First ever nuke! Karachi, camped the top of that open top building, got my chopper, then got a few lucky kills under pressure using enemy weapons (ran out of precious AUG HBAR ammo. Ended up going along the one of the balconies and running headfirst into an enemy on the rooftop, we were both looking straight at each other and I pumped the trigger harder than I swear I ever have. Then realised after half a second that i'd picked up a FAL which was single shot fire :( fortunately he was shit so I regained my composure and finished him off. Then a cheeky camped corner and knife kill for the nuke. What a feeling!

EDIT: Should be noted I only played TDM, from what i've heard it's a lot easier to earn them in objective type games, as people blindly rush the waypoints (and also there's no kill limit)

This game is crack

Stick to RPD with grip and stopping power. Treat it like a machine gun-sniper rifle. Stick to higher up parts of the map/'dick' roofs. It doesn't need any other attachment, but heartbeat sensors are handy.

Perk 1 can either be Marathon or Bling (grip + heartbeat sensor), perk 3 either Commando Pro or Ninja Pro. Stinger missile is a good secondary since the gun has so much ammo you're unlikely to run out quickly. OMA is a good choice as you can swap between it and a Danger Close Pro class when you call in killstreaks.

Just watch my playing style when we're in games, I almost always use it and get good K:D ratios using it.

I think the gripped AA-12 might be the greatest weapon to ever grace a videogame.

I remember someone posting one of this lunatics videos years ago on here where he was claiming Resistance was the greatest FPS of all time and the 360 was for kids. Amusing to see he is still completely insane.

He's joking, surely? I lol'd a bit at what I perceived as mock outrage.

You would hope so but he has like 150 videos or so posted of the same kind of crazy rants. I think he might actually believe he is a leader of The Trey Brotherhood and will take over the world one day.

The whole killstreak thing is fucked too. Take them away and people would barely be able to rack up 6 or 7 kills, and the amount of games finished early with a fucking nuke, or games that are totally unplayable because of the endless barrage of airstrikes and aerial support, is insane.

I don't understand at all how the game is supposed to be balanced, COD4 was better for it. I got a kill streak of 18 on Favela yesterday and 8 or 9 of them were done from the comfort of a remote position away from the battle.

Not even going to mention the shotguns. Scope then fire, pretty much guaranteed instant kill every time.

if you fire immediatedly after pressing left trigger the bullet accuracy is the same as if you were already aiming down the sight. works for the sniper to which is called quickscoping. another daft trick

So pointing a really powerful close range weapon straight at someone from close range kills them!? Sorry for the sarcasm but the complaint above is just silly. The powerful assault rifles kill in two shots and the cost of taking a shotgun means you can't take another secondary weapon, coupled with the fact they take a while to switch to. Plus they're short range. It's balanced.
