Brilliant video. I subscribed to his videos and much as I started off disliking him, I've grown to like him. He's a great player and I'm learning a lot from his commentaries.

He is a bit of a nob, but as you say, he's bloody good at the game and his accent and pattern of speech are hypnotic - 'I'm about to get a mess of kills over here' and so forth.

I tried out the explosive kit last night on a couple of maps- as long as you aim the AT4 in the general direction of where y ou know folks out, you'll always snag a double kill or something. I became waay too focused on running around blasting stuff though and it got me killled LOADS- still ended up with 29-16 on Afghan when I was playing terribly with no care whatsoever, so it's still pretty potent

He oozes charisma. The reason I linked the video was just because it is so damn funny. I was just looking around for Danger Close tips (see my earlier posts in the thread) and I just stumbled on it. Its mental how he is utterly destroying everybody, yet seems so utterly blasé about it. Okay, the commentary is added after the capture, but it made me giggle. Definitely worth sharing with others interested in MW2.

In other news, I just switched around my killstreak rewards. Going Predator, Harrier, Pavelow now.

I managed to get Pavelow in consecutive games. The first game ended (host left, couldnt find a new one) before the Pavelow killed anybody. My second game (Scrapyard) , the Pavelow killed one person in the entire time it was in the air. It didnt get shot down. It killed one stinking person.

You get a lot of folk playing with Cold Blooded, particularly quite open maps like Scrapyard. That or they're just smart enough to stay indoors.

The AK47 one has him giving a completely non-ironic 5 minute background on the history of the rifle, and the F2000 is the true love/hate vid of choice, where he basically acts like a dick and gets a nuke in the most blasé way possible. ("I'm not even trying here.") The AA12 video is brilliant, too.

I was completely transfixed for about 2 hours.

The Akimbo 1887 video is funny too. Half way in to it you get a thoughtful and insightful analysis of how the guns work, the history and purpose behind their design, the reasons why they shouldnt be able to use smokeless cartridges (in the game they do use smokeless cartridges) and musings over whether they are in the game as a reference to Terminator 2. Then he points out that you do kinda run like a faggot when you are running with them, realises what he has just said, apologises to any homosexual people watching the video, but asks them to admit that the character in game does run like a girl with akimbo 1887's.

I got an Astro A40 system the other day. After I'd got a bit used to them, I'm finding my game improving a lot with them. I often, crounch and just listen to peoples movements. If you're not using a silencer it can be very effective if you've got your back covered. You can hear people from way off and are ready for them coming round corners etc. I'd recommend them, not tried the turtle beaches or anything so I've nothing to compare them too though.

I've not played MW2 on PS3 but as I said earlier in the thread I found CoD4 on PS3 noticeably easier and my stats seem to support that. Is this guy on PS3 then? As good as he is on that explosives video his opponents are pretty poor, not seen his other vids.

A 3:1 K/D ratio is pretty damned good though eh? He says himself that he doesn't always dominate but very rarely has a negative score. I like how he moves around the maps and liked his tips on claymore placement etc. I'm currently having a whale of a time with his danger close set-up. I've never used danger close or scavenger but it's hella fun on Afghan and wasteland and you get loads of triple and quadruple kills. It's hard to imagine finishing with a negative score using it.

I joined a Search & Destroy game t'other day and neither team were shooting each other, just wandering up to each other and milling around.

I start playing normally and got a ton of abuse for it. Can't quite work out what was going on there.

They were boosting. Everything in S&D gives you more points, 500 for a kill, 200 for an assist, shooting down air support is, like, 10x as well I think. You know how you get points for someone shooting your riot shield? Now times it by 10. That's what they were doing. You can get 50k in a game if you have a full 6v6 doing it properly.

That AT4 guy gets it. I love explosives so much, they are easy to use, but they have another level fo play entirely when you're good with them. Can you put a grenade through either bunker window on Afghan from C the second you show yourself on the top of the cliff? You you put a tube directly on B from A and C, able to comfortably protect it without being anywhere near it? I can.

Thought I'd show a friend of mine whose never seen a nuke before one last night, died at 22, game was about halfway done so I thought I'd try again, got the nuke and the game finished just as I was pulling out the detonator. Again. Fffffff.

Watching that unlimited UAV guy, it really is amazing how bad the people he plays are. Whenever I get a nuke I have to move around a LOT, not for ammo but simply because people put grenades all over your spot, not a single person threw a grenade at him in that video. It's tragic. Still, he clearly knows his shit.

I think you missed the point. The average "omg noobtuber" can't, he can aim and fire, and kill you, and piss you off, thus the name. It has far more scope than that.

With the UGL , Thumper and C4 you get 5!! Explosives per Spawn, all dealing extra damage on DCP. Add Predator at 5, Pave Low at 9 and Chopper Gunner at 11 and you can cause utter choas - providing you can get up high to rain down hell. Finished 27-3 on sub base by patrolling the roof. I know most people would have Scavenger to keep explosives topped up but the holographic sight still lets me get med-long range kills with ease with the TAR21.

The C spawn on sub-base is fucking brilliant, the roof there provides a bit of cover, easy to defend ways up and you can blow the fuck out of people. Love that side of the map was noobtube action.

They were awesome games to be fair and you handed us our arses but all in all it was a win/win all round!

My favourite current perk loadout is Marathon Pro (climbs faster), Lightweight Pro (quick aim after sprint) and Commando Pro (no falling damage). Throw in a Mini-Uzi with sight and an M1014 with Grip and voila! Rapáge Kit ahoy

I am quite terrible at this normally, kd ratio of 0.6, and yet after watching that guy's vids and following his tip of changing control sensitivity to ten, I magically scored 18:1 in my next game, with a 13 streak. Being inspired by his performance helped as well - if he can score so easily, so can I.
