There's no limit to the number of times you can change class with OMA, and you can change to the class you're already using, effectively just refilling your ammo and only requiring you have one custom slot for OMA.

You're a bad, bad man Neom - I've just spent the last few hours barricading myself in a room with claymores whilst hosing the opponents down with grenade launchers. Takes a while to get your head round how to play it but christ is it powerful, particularly once you unlock OMA pro. A few kills away from Danger Close Pro too.

OKOK I find out the OMA "perk" of potentially a bazillion claymores AFTER I fucking pressed the Prestige button.

And as an added bonus, I never even fired off a single AK47 round while I was leveling to 71 (to open the Prestige).

*Please dont say Fuck or Bugger*

Fucking hell. This already sounds like the most broken exploit to get past a QA department ever.

Not really. You lose so much in using the OMA set-up. I didn't have any success with my short trial of it last night. Keep in mind, Neom kicks ass with any setting.

Played my best game yet last night in free-for-all on Highrise - finished at 25-0. Spent the last 2 minutes of the match hiding like a coward after my killstreak rewards had done most of the damage. It was tempting to go out for a 30-0 but since my previous best killstreak was only 11, I took the cautious route. Managed a 30-4 win a couple of games later as well.

Saw a guy trying to do the infinite claymore thing today. Got killed by a claymore as I tried to run in his building (just used prestige so had no Ninja, delay claymores, or UAV jammer ofc) and on the killcam he was holding that pack-item that shows when you are changing classes, the next kill (another guy) confirmed it, another claymore.

20 seconds later a thrown a grenade through the window blows him to pieces as it makes a nearby claymore explode as well. Job done. Grabbed his gun and felt on top of the world until some shit also trying to get to him spotted me running away giggling like a schoolgirl. Promptly shot me to pieces.

Still, the cheating shit finished on 2-12, so that was OK.

There has been talk of "exploits" being labelled "cheats" (see Major Nelsons twitter stuff, with 24 hour bans and the like) and, as IW limited (or tried to limit) people to one Claymore, people using OMA to replenish infinite Claymores (by placing one then re-selecting the same class again and again via OMA in order to get multiple claymores) was also classed as a "cheat".

..dont shoot the messenger!

Can people using OMA place more than two claymores then? Because someone using scavenger can have two down at once, and they don't have to give up their secondary weapon. Is that an exploit? I don't see how one is worse than the other.

You can put two down at once via either means- if you put down a third, then the first one you put down will explode- from my exp with scav. Unless OMA lets you put down a third or more- it's not an exploit

OMA does the same. If you put down 3, the 1st explodes harmlessly.

Masu: it isn't cheating to keep replenishing claymores with OMA, IW have never said that. OMA, for better or for worse, was designed that way.

I've started using a thermal scope on a SCAR. Is this a n00bish thing to do? I'm now fucking the opposing team up something rotten (relatively speaking for someone as shit as I previously was) with it and ending up top scorer. It seems a bit cheap to go from a whipping boy to a god in one move. In one Ground War match I pretty much took the entire enemy team out in one go while they all gathered together. I was like hello, I'm a bullet sponge on a rooftop picking you off one by one, dickheads. That's just their fault, right?

After well over thirty hours of playing MP it then took me under two minutes to pick up my NBK emblem with that. Maybe I should try a sniper rifle next...

I can't try it because I prestiged, but I thought OMA only worked once per life?

It (probably) is once per life if you then choose another class that does not have OMA as the Secondary Weapon. I tried OMA once but preferred having the quick option to change to a shottie for those up close encounters.

The real great thing about OMA is you only need 120 kills with it to get it to Pro. You can do it in next to no time.

Anyway, because I have a Lovefilm subscription, I thought I would rent the PS3. I read the Eurogamer blurb about how the 360 version runs better, but I thought I would check to see for myself, and to be honest the only differences I can see between the two are whether 360 or PS3 controller buttons appear on the screen when the game prompts you to do something. I so rarely play my PS3 online that I am left wondering a few things though. Firstly, is there no option to "join session in progress" when you see your friend is playing the same game as you? Also, how do you report people on PS3? I shit you not, I have seen more people doing the Javelin glitch in half a dozen PS3 matches than I have in 40+ hours on the 360!
