I'm having so much fun with the ultimate bullshit class right now.

SCAR w/ UGL.

One Man Army Pro

Danger Close Pro

Commando Pro

Infinite grenades with huge splash damage, infinite claymores for covering my ass, can stab people from half a mile, but, more importantly, jump out of windows etc without worrying. Got a nuke with this setup yesterday. Best bit was thrashing an entire clan of dog rapists and javelin glitchers and hearing them cry about it. The ironing.

Is One Man Army Pro that much quicker than regular for changing? Is Scavenger Pro not a better call for (near) infinite grenades?

The thing about scavenger pro is that you have to go out and find the packages, and you get one grenade per scavenge. OMA pro is a 3 second cast time, refills your ammo, current clip, grenades, equipment etc and continues whilst moving, you can either use it while moving to a new location or stay in cover.

I assume you fill all five slots with the same loadout then.

That's the brilliant thing, you don't even need to choose a new class, press Y and select the class you're already using and it just refills your loadout. I can only assume they're going to change this at some point in the future because, although limited in its applications, it really is rather broken.

As a riot shield player myself, noob tubes aimed slightly to the side or beyond them are your friend against them. Regular grenades are relatively easy to 'block' with the shield. Had a game on scrapyard last night where there were about 3 of us on each team with riot shields, which led to some epic standoffs!

There’s a good vid on YouTube of a TDM match with 6 guys on the one side with Riot Shields running about in pack, like a Roman legion. Riot Shield bullies, I think it’s called.

Oh man, that is broke. One Man Army Pro here I comes.

Edit: Thinking about it, you could use it to reload a crazy LMG like the RPD much quicker than an actual reload then.

And never run out of ammo! Unfortunately the lack of bling for it and so on makes it a little pointless IMO.

So you can't switch to a bling class then? I assume all secondaries and perk ones are overwritten by OMA regardless of what class you switch to. They bloody well should be.

I remember saying that this would become the new bullshit about 20 pages back, and people said "nah, Scavenger will do it better". -_-:(

EDIT: Ah that's not so bad, yet I can still see some teams using it for grenade spammage.

It's a stupid idea for a perk, really.

Yup, I'm hoping that IW will have a shed load of anecdotal and metric data (assuming they gather this?) that they can use to refine things via a patch. One Man Army, Commando Melee distance, Marathon and the Nuke could all do with some changes.

If they limited the number of kills a single person can contribute towards a killstreak, do you think that would be an effective approach towards nerfing nukes? Not something daft that could hinder genuine players, but surely one person wouldn't get more than, say, 12 kills on the same player in a streak?

I hereby issue you with one "agreement pellet".

I helped a team mate with an assisted suicide last night. The game seemed impressed with me, but I'll be damned if I know what I did, and I certainly didn't mean to do it.

It usually means that the guy you just shot jumped off a roof or over a ledge to get away from you and died from the fall. It happens a lot if you patrol the rooftops on Favella. You still get credited with the kill too. :)

As for the Martyrdom thing, you just drop a frag I think. Like Last Stand where you whip out a pistol even if you arent carrying one, it doesnt matter what you have equipped. You might drop Semtex if you have that instead of a frag, you certainly wont drop a tactical insertion.

How does it give you infinite grenades and claymores?

You only get to swap classes once do you not? So that's 2 frags or 2 claymores, no? Or am I missing something?

If you change to another class that also has One Man Army, can you not change again until you get to a class that doesn't?

Anyway even putting 4 claymores down would be bad. The limit of 2 is good
