Multikill starts at four doesnt it? I just got a triple kill with a Predator missile and I am sure it said "triple" instead of "multi" on the UI.

Oh really? In which case I mowed down four, not three nuke campers the other day, sweet.

I just heard that you can press the fire button when controlling a Predator and it causes the missile to fire its afterburner and makes its splash damage bigger when it lands. Can anybody confirm or deny this? I cant be arsed to log in to test it now.

It certainly makes it travel much faster, couldn't say if it increased the damage radius - don't see why it should..

It will probably be so that it hits its target quicker - course now that I know that I'll be bringing hell down on groups.

I hate it when I see them split and I knew that two secs earlier I could have wiped them all out!

Came up against an entire team of javelin glitchers tonight, so I reported all of them and then nuked them. Annoying cunts.

Just nailed some guy who called in an Emergency Airdrop. Nicked the first crate, it was a sentry gun. Nicked the second crate, it was a Pavelow. Nicked the third crate, it was a Pavelow. Got shot before I could take the fourth (didnt even get chance to see what was in it) Ill bet the guy I killed and stole from is calling me worse than shit though.

From being near the bottom, something like 7-12 I managed to finish second with something like 24-14! I would have won if there had been more than the 80 seconds left when I nicked all the emergency airdrop, my second pavelow was deployed by the time ran out before it could kill anybody. Two new titles too, Robin Hood for nicking a number of supply drops, and something related to calling in three Pavelows. When your luck is in, your luck is in!

I would imagine half the time they dont even notice. How many times do people put somebody into Last Stand and then neglect to finish them off? Okay, sometimes it's hard if its a long shot and the guy falls into Last Stand behind cover or something, but the times when I have been vulnerable and nobody has shot me again are very frequent. The M93 raffica is a ridiculously good last stand gun too. I got a double kill with it from last stand last night!

I got put down twice by the same dude on Last Stand a few days back (one of em was not even my firefight)...I can tell you it was gutting. Needless to say I learned my lesson, I check everything untoward on the ground now - it's like being in Amsterdam back in the 80's/90's and avoiding the dog shite.

I despise people using last stand, which must mean it's a useful perk. Personally, I've never managed to kill anyone while using it so I've given up. Final stand is pretty good though. I use that in all my classes.

I know how to report someone using the system but I don't understand how MS can look into whether a player is using the javelin glitch or not?

I can see from my feedback in eg halo3, people have complained about my sportsmanship, but I haven't been aware I was doing anything.

Two different systems, one is a formal complaint to Microsoft about cheating, abuse and the like - the other is just a reason to avoid being matched with someone because you thought they were unsporting or quit early.

finally did the special ops on veteran on the oil rigs, not sure how to do the favela one though, the thumpers are pretty much useless on the juggernauts and even 2-3 flashbangs don't seem to be enough to give you time, always seem to miss with the rockets when i tried so now i don't even bother, me and my mate just keep on getting pounded on it.

How do I deal with riot shield players? Was struggling with them in 2 games this weekend. Must have been funny for the people using it, but very annoying for me! I couldn't melee him at all and once he was close up, I was helpless! :-(

Edit: Just had a poke around the net, I'll be putting Semtex grenades in a few of my load outs, that'll teach the fuckers! :-D

Shoot their feet so they have to crouch then run round their side and stab them. Works for me.

i came across one earlier that was using it and i ended up getting 4 kills on the plane part with all the seats (not camping, just on my travels when it was all kicking off there) and then i ran out of bullets, pressed the button to pick up a new gun but ended up with a shield and then in the next little passageway where the passengers would board the plane i back someone into a corner and pummeled him a few times with the shield and he STILL managed to kill me.

sometimes this game makes me feel like i'm on fire, other times it feels like the odds are just stacked against me and i don't know why, though i never really seem to do "too" badly, the way people can kill me at times is just ridiculous.

also what the fuck is up with me being on estate, choosing a sniper class 3 times and ending up in the building, choosing sub machine gun and then ending up in the middle of nowhere.. changing back to sniper and then ending up close to everyone again.. then back to sub machine gun and i end up on the other side of the planet. FUCKERS

I'll give it a go, cheers! :-) It's rare I meet people using the shield, so I've never figured it out. I'm sure I've killed them in the past with an RPD with FMJ's?

On another note, I was playing wasteland last night on FFA, I usually hate this map, what with all the snipers, so I changed my game plan. I used one of my cold blooded load outs, with ninja pro and spent most of the match wandering round the perimetre of the map. Sneaking up on snipers and either stabbing them in the back or shooting them in the head from close range. Great fun :-D Next time that map comes up, I'm going to practice some Semtex throwing :-)

Sometimes the spawning is shifty, though not as bad as WAW if I remember correctly! I guess the game doesn't take into account your weapon when decided where you spawn.

If you want to do a bit of sniping, maybe use tactical insertion? Equiping a decent side arm should get you out of any situations when you spawn :-)

I know what you mean about being on fire one minute, then not. Sometimes it's like, I see 4 guys, bang, bang, bang, bang, all dead so easily. Then the next game I can't get it right at all. I put it down to concentration levels. It's only when I'm completely relaxed and stress free that I seem to get 'in the zone'!

I had a good one on invasion last night, I lobbed a grenade over his head and then a flashbang towards his feet. It was the last kill of the game and the winning kill-cam, from the perspective of the grenade, showed him wandering back onto it just as it went off

Got the 69 stars yesterday and this was defintely hardest of the lot. Use the thumper cus it's 1 - shot kill if you get a headshot with it. Other than that the splash damage from it will slow them down so aim at floors/walls near to them. Stay moving and picking up flashbangs and you should be ok.

As a riot shield player myself, noob tubes aimed slightly to the side or beyond them are your friend against them. Regular grenades are relatively easy to 'block' with the shield. Had a game on scrapyard last night where there were about 3 of us on each team with riot shields, which led to some epic standoffs!

I love sticking Riot Shields with the sticky C4 grenades. That desperate fumble before the bang is wonderful
