Okay! Played through a few levels. It's very nicely presented and a good game to boot.

However, the icon is absolutely rubbish! Doesn't even appear to be designed by the games artists. Needs updating.

Haven't played the game it's based on, but it's a nice gravity based shooter.

Well apple have finally approved the icon change - yes it really did take that long!

Just to let any other touch users know, this is iPhone only. Or so it said when I tried to download it. Needs a mic apparently.

it worked on my touch, having played it I dont know where the mic would be needed, isnt it just moving left and right?

Finally got around to Geodefence Swarm and am enjoying it alot. A couple of things confuse me though: When I touch a weapon and drag my finge I get a line emanating from the weapon, what is this? At one stage I had a laser tower that had little triangles around it and it never rotated, what does this indicate and how do I turn it on/off?

It locks your turret to face a particular way, which can be useful if you funnel enemies down a corridor. I don't think the game explains this, I only found it out when someone told me

EDIT - Orbital is a cracking game for the toilet!

The line is too hook them up to the vortexes you get on some levels - which then give the weapon a boost every so often. When there are no vortexes the line thing does nothing.

The lasers can be locked in position which is invaluable to stop them spazzing out following one creep rather than blasting a line. Double click it to lock or to unlock, though it must be upgraded a few times before you can do this.
