Follow Vemsie's tips a few pages back, and have a look at the videos as well. As basic as it sounds, I think the key is to try on the road as much as possible and avoid the impulsive jump down to the road below you as you'll end up bouncing all over the place.

Having said that, I've only managed 77 myself.

Ok, will do.

Obviously I try to stay on the track, but my only decent scores have been when I've done lots of big leaps and fluked going through a gate upon landing, but that's obviously an unreliable tactic...

The bouncing skills do you in good stead though as it will happen at some point on every run. The fact that it is actually about staying on the track is what kept me playing, you stick around the same points for ages and then have a breakthrough go where your score goes over 100 for the first time. Then you find a lot of your runs go over 100 points.

Cheap as chips really in the scheme of things. Did the 2nd and 3rd games improve on the 'brilliant idea for a game, too hard to actually do what we want to do without resorting to trial (no pun intended) and error gameplay' ? I loved that first one until that point.

No. :( Obviously it's a lot more straightforward if you know the games inside out, but the DS games still involve a lot of saving, failing and retrying (although the later games replaced the "lives" with an energy bar and allowed you to replenish energy by completing the Psyche-Lock minigames...)

It's Cosmicguru. My best score is a pretty puny 20k or so but I keep coming back for more.

You can download a trial game for free and unlocking a campaign if you like it costs a miserly 69p. I would recommend it to anyone with D&D leanings who fancies a rogue like.

This was a bit of a surprise the first time it happened.

The Phoenix Wright trilogy's now due to arrive on May 30. The first game will be $5.99, following installments will be $6.99, and the full trilogy is $16.99.

CapcomUnity

Sounds pricey, but then I paid £30 for each of the DS games... :hmm:

If I hadn't bought the previous games on DS I'd be buying this. Still I can recommend it to all of my friends now.

Testing another prototype from Infinite State Games, looks like it's going to be a lot of fun...

Brilliant post.

I'm late to the party on this but I just started The Room. It's been on my iPad for ages but this morning in a game-trying-and-deleting binge I thought I should probably give it a go. Onto the third chapter, now, and time is just vanishing, it's a bit bloody immersive. Didn't mean to spend so long playing it but I just couldn't stop until the damn thing was open. I couldn't start that third chapter because I'd be stuck here for two hours doing it probably, entirely unable to stop

I feel ashamed. So ashamed. My daughter plays my little pony on the ipad and asked for help. I'm now addicted to helping her play a my little pony game.

Clearly your daughter is the true Zod, with you now relegated to Nom status!!

Guys, I'm looking for an iPad game with some depth. Not a town building or owt.

Something new, so not FFT.

I'd happily get into an MMO...any ideas?
