Has anyone tried the Talisman game? Used the love the board game as a kid but seem to remember a game lasted for hours.

Yes - downloaded it yesterday.

Looks a good conversion. It appears to be a series of quests using the standard game rules (based on going around the board on your own), but with multiplayer to come in the future.

I purchased it last night but not tried it yet, single player only (multiplayer later) but been getting great reviews so looking forward to putting some time into it tonight

Is it playable on a phone at all? Or best suited to tablets? Really want to play it but not sure it'd work on my smallish screen.

I bought it on my phone (altho I have ipad as well so really I got it for that)... My verdict after 30 mins play... sometimes a bit fiddly but doable. Doesnt look as impressive as on the pad obviously some buttons are small but usually there are only 2-3 things to do so its not like mispresses are an issue

Anyone still playing Happy Street? Need some active players, add me (username: mercenarri) ^_^

Yeah, although today's update to add Facebook shit is making me think twice.

I am. I'm DaleyAFC if anyone wants to add me.

This Facebook shit drives me crazy. Yes of course I want old school friends and work colleagues to constantly pester me for some game they happen to be playing (while I pester them when i'm meant to be at work).

I can see why facebook do it but integrating into everything has actually made me stop using facebook.

Set up a dummy Facebook account for all this sort of dross.

Been meaning to do this for a while, Happy Street's saccharine charm finally pushed me over the edge. My dummy Facebook account is Petrolgirls Rllmuk. It will feature, I imagine, a stream of unsolicited game related bullshit so I'd recommend only connecting Facebook accounts set up for a similar purpose.

Yes, it's rather good. These sorts of board / dice games are ideal for the iPad for at really if you can accept the loss of tactile ness. On the other hand you don't tie up your table top for ages or risk losing track of stats and special abilities etc.

This one is dead easy to pick up and play, rather less easy to 3 * every quest owing to the huge element of luck involved in every turn.

Thinking of picking up Eclipse too.

It's not technical quality so much as aesthetics. Mr Crab's a right ugly bugger and it's all a bit garish. Fortunately it's a lot of fun to play.

Mr. Crab's stupid face on the icon made me buy it in the first place.
