Crispin, ZONR is all that stuff, and ignoring it because it hasn't been in the Guardian is stupid. I mean, you still might not like it, but it's all that stuff.

Elsewhere, PokerTower is free today. It's kind of like SpellTower a little bit, but with poker hands (obviously.)

There's a bunch of modes, like timed modes and versus modes and stuff, but Tower Mode is where it's at. Every time you make a hand, a row is added to the bottom (two rows if you make a shitty hand) and when it reaches the top: game over. There aren't many cards on the screen at a time so it's quite challenging. Making better hands gets more points and making the best hands increases your combo.

Also, how long can you stand it before you turn the music off?

ZONR really isn't all that stuff. It's an above average puzzle game with good music and the same time countdown mechanic they throw into all their games. It has none of the compulsion, playability or style of SH.

Man, and I really like ZONR! To compare it in anyway to SH is just silly.

Yet again: I'm not comparing it to Super Hexagon. You're the one doing that. I'm just saying that there's a decent chance that someone who likes Super Hexagon will also like ZONR. Like I do. And like you do. See how that works?

Yes, but that chance is pretty much the same decent chance as it would be if you named any good game at random off the App Store, because the one you did suggest is not similar in any way. See how that works?

Bah! I finally bought a new iPad to replace my first gen model and redownloaded Scrabble and fancied a game with the family but it looks like EA have removed the Scrabble tile rack app from the App Store making it a more awkward and less enticing idea.

It's not so much the update as not letting you keep it on your actual phone when they discontinue it.

They don't get a choice what's on your phone.

If it relies on online they can stop it working of course but I don't know of an EA non-free game where they've actually done that.

I can't find it in my bag at all, despite it saying I was getting one. Dunno if it's because I already had one building item in there out of the four slots. Been a bit buggy this Easter update!

Found it! Only problem is the app crashes every time I try to place it :(

That's a known issue, apparently, they're getting an update out to fix it.

It's in the actual bag, not the building part.

Yeah, I'm enjoying, looks like a return to form after Pocket Planes which I lost interest in quickly.

I've registered an Rllmuk clan. Just put RLLMUK in the box when you go to the arena to join.

Just been helping the cause with this :) - contributed a tied guild-highest of 112 to make RLLMUK 25th in the charts!

Looks like this is set to be out this month. Hard to tell how its looking from those screenshots but the writer sounds very enthusiastic. Having unrestricted roaming outside of battle seems a good idea.

I could've sworn I'd looked there too, but not carefully enough. oh well then, I await the fix now!

My only worry with that is the top down perspective can get old fast - I find Hunters 2 in particular hard to commit to for any period of time because all my characters look like this: |o/

That said, any sort of good Warhammer game = must buy.

Yep, do hope you can change the perspective a bit. It seems weird if you cant as theyve mentioned you can see all the changes to your armour+equipment as you equip them. Not sure how you'd tell that you changed your boots from above.

Badland is out today and it's fantastic. It's a whole £2.49, but for that you get a beautiful looking, extremely fun game. It's sort of an endless runner, sort of a physics puzzler. Just noticed it keeps your progress from device to device too.
