I would hardly call that a point to be missed...you can glean that as much from a half an hour's play as four hours (which is what I put into it, I was saving my delivery speed up tickets for some dopey reason)!

My girlfriend convinced me to get "What's the Phrase?", a Zynga title, since she really likes it. After half an hour with the free version, I got sick of pop-up adverts, and paid 2 quid to get rid of them.

A few days later and there are Honda adverts built into the bloody game. It's a phrase category you can choose (though so far the phrase is "Men at work" every single time...), and when you spin for points, there's a good chance you'll land on "HONDA", and have to select between three Honda cars to receive a random points bonus.

I'd not been stung by a Zynga game before, but never again.

I've for yellow crystals for trade in Happy Street, I need Blue and Red if anyone has any :)

In other news I feel awful for getting moonstone. It makes the moon unhappy :(

And I have loads of blue crystals on happy street (and could do with some yellows) what's your name on gamecentre ( or whatever it's called?)

I'm not sure why but i'm hooked on this right now. I'm DaleyAFC if you want to add me for some red crystals.

Finally got my game onto the appstore.

It's more of a kids game, so may not be your cup of tea.. but (adult) friends who have played it have enjoyed it too. The "endless" mode is a nice little high score mode.

It's best played on a Ipad 2 but works fine on the iphone etc. The itune photo seems to select the iphone 5 screenshots, which do stretch the screen a bit (it's pretty fine on the iphone 4 though).

69p isn't asking too much, but i have included a couple of codes for people to give it a try with.

I'd like to see what scores people are getting too, although the unlockable bonus items can take a little while to unlock.

So I've got Daley and markholl on board already - nice one guys. No-one showing up on the map yet though. Sure it'll be self explanatory but if there's anything I'm missing can someone talk me through it? Need to get that hotel and museum levelled up..

Haha, it actually turns out Solitaire Blitz is one of the shittiest things on the App Store. PopCap is basically dead, EA have destroyed them.

You get 60 seconds to set the highest score you can, or you can spend your real moneys to get some extra time to get a higher score. High scores to whoever spends the most, then, not that it really matters with the Facebook integration so who really cares anyway?

Definitely stick with Fairway Solitaire. Amazing that this went so wrong

That's not actually true. You don't get a bonus for the extra time, it just gives you a stay of execution when you're running out. The other bonuses give you a better chance at a higher score because you can extend your run, but my best score so far is without using a single bonus. I just got a good run of cards.

It's not a perfect system, and the energy thing is annoying (though it replenishes quicker than most). As freemium games go, though, it's a long way from being "one of the shittiest things on the App Store". It's not nearly as bad as Real Racing 3.

Given that PopCap only exist because they ripped off Zuma from another company.
