It's number 2 in the paid charts, it's just called 8 ball pool.

This is amazing. No single player, but it actually makes it more fun playing humans who can mess up their final shot leaving you to clear the table, and obviously the same happens in reverse.

My only gripe is the amazing cutting abilities that you have which are unrealistic, the physics model should be tweaked so you can't get as much power in a thinly cut contact. Makes almost anything potable.

In my desperation for dungeon crawling action I've been playing an old game called Tumulus of Fen. It's actually quite addictive, in a simple explore-a-maze-and-kill-baddies-for-loot type way. No quests, no NPCs, no plot. Just monster mashing. But really addictive.

Just tried the lite version of that. Excellent stuff. Buying

Ridiculous Fishing has been approved. I hope they don't hold it back from release much longer, it feels like I've been waiting at least 2 years now...

Release date is 14 March according to toucharcade. Meant to be good then? I see the Super Crate Box dev has had a hand in it.

Stuck on Finding Teddy, might be a fair way in so don't read the spoiler unless you are near the end! I really just want a hint of where to go next, stumped :(

I've put the feather on the stone bird statue which plays some music but no notes to copy down. In the cave there's a grey monster that's crying and if I go near it squishes me with his neck. All I have on me is the empty bottle (which I used to water the flower by the large bee) and the frogs song. I did see some weird phoenix light thing on a wall in the cave but there doesn't seem to be anything there to interact with. Checked every screen but I can't see anything to pick up. Any hints?

Really enjoyed Year Walk. Very clever "proper ending". Thing is, I would gladly have paid a lot more for a longer experience.

There was one bit that really annoyed me though

Moving the dead baby ghosts... Wasn't at all intuitive what I had to do and I regret that I went to a guide for that.

Hilariously I just guessed that bit. Seemingly got the right combination within a minute. I was trying to use the symbols on the trees for guidance! Just getting hold of the companion app now to see what I've missed.

You've missed the best bit!

The game was very Cinq-like...

It's all about earning weapons and bonuses and using them effectively to lower the randomness as much as possible. Which ones you choose depend on what you're doing at any given time. If it's anything like the first one you'll hit points where you need to grind earlier fights to get further. Different bonus items are better suited to maximising that than would be for straight forward progress.

I hear Angry Birds is free. If anyone knows the last person who doesn't have it yet, will you let them know?

Even if you hate it, it's the one thing everyone can play when they "just want a go on your iPad". That's the only reason I keep it.
