Turned based games like XCOM anyone? I know about Hunters but I hate the look of it from videos. Willing to overlook that if the game is brilliant but it doesn't appeal off hand.

I really enjoyed 'Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land' and the theme was a bit different to most other turned based games. Definitely worth a look.

Table Top racing is ace....

Except it keeps reseting events. I've done the first three cups and now its saying I've only done half of the first event and I've lost vehicles and upgrades. Most disappointing. Won't play it till its sorted out.

Not had that but I do wish devs who do multi-device games (i.e this for ipad & iphone) would include cloud saving by default so that it syncs my progress across the devices - I don't want to have to redo things.

I've been trying to download Galaxy on fire 2 but I keep getting a message that the "set is to big to download" or something like that. As I have only had the phone 2 days and this is pretty much my first download, I'm stumped, what's happening?

How much free space have you got? Check in settings - general - about. You probably need about a gig free

Pawn'd has gone free, the quite excellent Pawn'd.

It's a match three, basically, but with a chess theme. Each of the tiles can only move one space in the direction of the chess piece, so bishops can only move diagonally, etc. Pawns can only move forwards, but can move two spaces if you move them directly forward. Knights move like knights. With the right set-up, you can castle with a king and a rook. So yeah, it's match three but with a twist, and it works brilliantly.

There are a bunch of modes, too, some timed, some where you have time to think and plan ahead while meeting certain conditions, there's really something for everyone whether you like chess or not!
