Poposity's an enquiry into the nature of games, in a way. What would happen if you did away with design cliches, like structure and challenge? Would you have perhaps the purest form of game of all, or would you have something else, something that is both less than a game, and something that queries whether games should exist at all?

Poposity is a question that answers itself with another question, one that also answers itself, this time with another question, and also a statement - an interrobang of quiet logic. These nested rings of questions ask perhaps the most important question of all: how could anyone release this?

a welcome improvement since the GTA3 port is that the panning when zoomed in to a scoped weapon has been sped up, a lot.

Thank god. Took me ages to do the mission where 8-ball sneaks on the boat with a bomb and you have to take them all out with the riffle. Scope moved so slow.

It's going to be difficult for the Pickfords when they have to put the game through certification to fix that typo... It was meant to be called Pomposity, right? I mean, it's not like it's a satirical take on a certain high-profile game from a well-known developer...

Desperately looking for any Happy Street-ers with a yellow crystal supply in their forest (no euphemism). Anyone? Happy to trade good stuff for the two crystals I need...

I do indeed! Although I have quit the street, I do log in now and again to respond to mail requests but my yellow stocks are low now that I no longer harvest them :)

It was my daughter's 10th birthday last week. I bought her elmo's iPhone 4 from the Trading folder and loaded it full of the games you have been talking about for the last 6 months. I am a very popular Dad at the moment. Thank you. Here is her review.

Are there any decent turn based strategy games for iPhone? I was considering Total War Battles, is it much cop?

Edit: Oh, there's a free version, never mind.

Look at The Battle of the Bulge, just came out this week and it's 7 quid but its getting fantastic reviews. I've grabbed it but not had a chance to give it a go yet.
