Basically, it detects the electricity in your fingers. It feels a preposterously futuristic way of detecting touch, but it does work better when you know that's how it works.

Yep, if you want to read further, the terms are "Resitive" (DS) and "Capacitive" (IPhone and most modern devices)

Picked up a couple (literally two!) bridge constructor codes from Starbucks this morning. Pm me if you want one.

If you happen to go back ;)

Lili is down to 69p. Did anyone buy this? I seem to recall it being the showcase app for iPhone 5 or something but I've no idea what it is or if it's good.

Ah, shame :(

Mathable (iPad only) is free for a limited time. Fairly niche appeal I imagine, but it's basically Scrabble with numbers. There's only local play as far as I can tell but it could be worth grabbing anyway 'cause the actual board game is £25 and this will easily be as good as that. Maybe they'll add async online one day, 'cause it could potentially be as good as WordFeud and the like.

HAPPY STREET UPDATE.

What's new

✔ It's winter and Christmas is getting close: new Christmas house, business and decorations

✔ Special Christmas Tree to visit and get amazing and unique gifts on Dec 25th

✔ Letter Box to send message to your friends when visiting them

✔ New Vehicles UFO and Santa Sleigh

✔ New Quests

✔ New Achievements

✔ Cave ambience and new sounds

✔ Removed the hard limit of level 35, you can now progress passed level 35 but much slower.

✔ Coins can be earned 2x faster when offline

✔ Fixed several bugs

Think I'm going to have to just start again and hope for the best this time. It all sounds too good and I want to join in.

Well, that'll now be downloaded by every single student in my school tomorrow. Cheers :)

I'm totally addicted to Hill Climb Racer now. Great fun once you unlock the Monster Truck and upgrade it a few times. The levels have some nice twists too (the ceiling of the Cave level has caused many a broken neck for my driver!)

Free!

Updated! But the new levels offer very little additional fun. I've unlocked everything now... :(

Pair panic is nigh-on unplayable on an iPad3. The entire game displays in portrait but the game is clearly optimised for landscape play. The entire playing field is permanently squashed! Please make my 69p worth it!! :)

Fix is now live, alwalys plays in landscape now.

I'm in pretty much the same boat, it desperately needs GameCenter integration & not just distances for levels but times too.

It needs to rip off all the stats / GC stuff from Extreme Roadtrip 2 really.

Well then, Lili is a really lovely game so far. It has a gentle Zelda game hub vibe to it, and gameplay seems to be a mix of exploring and chasing after Wood Spirits.

It looks lovely:

...and has a nice sense of humour as well. Controls are pretty good, music is nice, seems to be a pretty huge game if the number if blank pages on the treasure book are anything to go by.

Bit of a no-brainer for 69p really. It's very impressive.

Oh, and I'm Tony Ounsworth on GC if anyone wants to visit my gf's Happy Street. :eyebrows:
