I'll add you, but game centre isn't even loading for me.

It's pretty annoying, I can see sammy has played a move, but the game thinks I'm still waiting for my turn. Still, pay 69p for this folks, the upgrade is worthless but these guys deserve to make some coin off this game.

Eh, how did you just win that? There were loads more words I could have made from those letters...is there some end game condition?

EDIT: Oh I see, when all tiles are covered the score gets tallied...bollocks! Behold the battle of the 'ings'!

Once all the tiles are coloured the game ends, and the person with the most points on the board at the time it ends is the winner. It gets tricky when you have a couple of unused tiles that are more difficult to use (like we did with v and z). I did wonder why you didn't use the z after I played the v!

Rematch tomorrow!

Another vote for letterpress here. Would really like some more opponents as randoms just seem to drop out if they don't get an easy board.

Purchasing the game gives you some different coloured themes and the ability to play multiple games at once. It's worth the 69p anyway and multiple games at once is a no brainer.

Got a letterpress move notification yesterday on my way home. Made me chuckle...

Coming soon...

In conjunction with the anniversary, we're pleased to announce that we'll be releasing an Anniversary Edition of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for select iOS and Android devices later this fall. This upcoming version will bring the full experience to mobile devices, featuring native high-resolution graphics and several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms. Stay tuned for more details in the weeks ahead including a list of compatible iOS and Android devices.

I really enjoyed GTA3 on the iPhone- thought it controlled really well (as long as you were in car... less good when you had to get out...)... As much as I wish they'd port the games over to the Vita, I'm looking forward to having another crack at it.

Yep, front end is like an Apple store, all clean lines and minimalist decor. Back end is like the toilets at the Dog and Duck - there's a bloke passed out in a cubicle, the loo has flooded and somebody's taken a shit in the sink.

The main problem with Letterpress (apart from game centre) is that, like all these games, the dictionary is pretty basic. You could make some stupendously long words if it was a bit smarter.

Yeah I'm noticing this more and more now. Perfectly acceptable words like TROJAN and JEWISH not being usable. Loving the app though and it looks beautiful, probably one of the best UIs I've seen recently. It's from the same dev that did Tweetie and Twitter for iPhone, in case anyone was wondering.
